If you like steel cut oats, you're going to looooove these oat groats, which is what you have before you chop them up into steel cut! They take longer to cook, 'tis true, but the value is in the eating. They are delicious! My best advice is to cook up a whole batch at once, and then portion it up and stick it in the fridge. About 3 days' worth gives the best result. Longer than that and they start losing some of the yumminess. Plus, it takes so long to cook them, so it's worth doing a big pot full. They reheat wonderfully in the microwave with a splash of milk. Healthy, delicious, and almost instant when you have them all ready made. Much better than overnight oats, IMHO.

I'm trying to move my diet to whole grains and move away from rolled oats, and even the steel cut oats, which I normally have.I like the oat growth.It has a good texture and flavor it does take longer to cook.So I just plan ahead

Started using these for our Frenchies dietary sensitivity. He LOVES them. It gives him tons of fiber and general bulk to his meals. Very filling while providing good nutrition. Cook time is about 45-50 minutes but well worth the wait.

I love this product. It was everything advertised, plus delicious. My only suggested feedback to the manufacturer is that the packaging doesn't say what the product is. Do you see the name "Hulled Oat Groats" anywhere on the front of the package?? I would never buy this if shopping in the store, but happy to have found it online.

they shipped a plastic bag of oats in a flemsy bubble mailer instead of a box for better protection and the original package that oats are in had a whole in them when i opened package. why would you even do that.

The bag was torn in the bottom. It's flimsy. This is annoying.
