My apartment read 72% thermostat was 77 degrees. I went to sleep woke up thermostat is 70 degrees it's at 58%.

The dehumidifier is simply excellent. From the first use, I noticed the difference in the environment: it quickly removes moisture and leaves the air much fresher and cleaner. It's ideal for bedrooms, basements, or any space where humidity is often a problem.

Overall I'm extremely impressed by the quality of this dehumidifier because I have a very small bathroom and kitchen, along with my house was built in the early 1940's and hasn't had the windows replaced or really hardly any work done to it over the years other than the living room I took out the old hardwood flooring and updated it to new. So naturally a house built in the 1940's is overall pretty drafty and has lots of excess humidity. I purchased two of these dehumidifiers and have one placed in my very small bathroom, when I plugged in the dehumidifier it read that there was 90% humidity in there after having the dehumidifier plugged in and on for 3 hours the humidty level dropped down to 60%. After having the dehumidifier on for a whole day and the humidity level is at 50%. The 2nd one is in the living room and when I firsted plugged in the dehumidifier it read that the humidity level was at an 89% after 2 hours having it plugged in the humidity level dropped down to 68% and now after having it on for a whole day and the humidity is now currently at 54%. I will leave you to decide what you want about this product but for myself and my family we have been able to notice a huge difference in our home. We have also had family tell us they could feel a difference and noticed that the air within our home felt and smells more fresh and clean than it has over the last couple of years. Which is due to these dehumidifiers along with using 2 air purifiers as well but the humidity level was my main focus because it was starting to make it so we were getting a huge buildup of mold within our home, which was a nightmare trying to keep up on and kept making us all very sick over the last year.

the unit is small but does a good job runs continuously and drains on it own in a drain which is why I keep it running.

Great for small spaces not for large spaces

Very quiet, but does not work efficiently. This machine is also not meant for large spaces like the description claims. There is a sticker on top of the machine that states that since it uses a semiconductor it removes moisture at a slower rate and is specifically designed for small spaces. Since the humidity levels in our house have been very high, we were desperate to try it out in hopes that it would reduce the humidity levels a little bit while we looked for an alternative. We have been running this machine for about 8 hours everyday for a week and the tank only has barely an inch of water collected for the entire week and the humidity percentage has not improved at all.

Save your money. This pulled zero moisture out of the air. Total disappointment. Returned and bought GE dehumidifer that made a difference in my home's comfort.

Never received. Showed as on it's way. Delayed %26 said would arrive day late. Then late on day of supposedly delivery date...Walmart refunded my $. Glad they refunded, but Walmart needs to find BETTER DELIVERY VENDORS. Items arrive late, not at all or are delivered outside of delivery hours, which results in pkgs left where anyone can steal.

Price could be expensive. Light material. Not too quiet when turned on. Great it has humidity gauge. It comes with remote control. NOT A SINGLE DROP of moisture was absorbed compared to a smaller dehumidifier that I had tried. Not recommended.
