I have an indoor garden in my basement and moisture was getting to be a bit of a problem, humidity. I got this to see if it would help so I wouldn't end up with mold or rotted beams in my basement. I set it up to drain automatically into my sump pump drainage pit, and it's doing a nice job, even with my watering my plants once a week. It's very quiet. It only runs until the humidity reaches whatever you've set it at for shut off. It also didn't jack my electric bill, which was a concern for me.

This is my 3rd humidifier of this brand. I put 1 in bathroom and 2 in the basement. Works great. It is easy to setup, either as-is or you can connect a hose that comes in the same box to drain water to a reservoir at a lower height to drain by gravity. It looks good, too. Using the latter method we could go away on a 2 week trip. When we returned the 55 gallon reservoir in the basement was 60% full. Great job!

I liked the sale price compared to the two others I've purchased in the past. It seems to do as intended but runs all the time where my others came on and off as needed.

Good size and weight for my needs. Super quiet. Right price on sale. It took two tries. First machine was defective and leaked without getting to exit tube or tank. Walmart return process was pain free so I tried again and am happy.

This item is very difficult to judge the setting on it. It doesn't seem to operate at a consistent pace daily. I go weeks where it's completely filled in less than a day. Some times it tells me it's full most the time nothing. Then I can go a week or two and it'll take 3 days to get full but it still doesn't say anything. I wouldn't buy it again because I don't know when to empty it.

Pulls water great but when you have the hose attached the reservoir still fills up and will turn off when full. This defeats the purpose of the hose as we can't run it when away.

It works well on the first 2 weeks. Then I noticed the control panel lights went off. You wouldn't know it's working unless you hear the sounds. You wouldn't know if the water tank is full.

Very quiet, but does not work efficiently. This machine is also not meant for large spaces like the description claims. There is a sticker on top of the machine that states that since it uses a semiconductor it removes moisture at a slower rate and is specifically designed for small spaces. Since the humidity levels in our house have been very high, we were desperate to try it out in hopes that it would reduce the humidity levels a little bit while we looked for an alternative. We have been running this machine for about 8 hours everyday for a week and the tank only has barely an inch of water collected for the entire week and the humidity percentage has not improved at all.

Never received. Showed as on it's way. Delayed %26 said would arrive day late. Then late on day of supposedly delivery date...Walmart refunded my $. Glad they refunded, but Walmart needs to find BETTER DELIVERY VENDORS. Items arrive late, not at all or are delivered outside of delivery hours, which results in pkgs left where anyone can steal.
