I think the price for the tool is relatively good wish it was a little cheaper. But much much more affordable then a Milwaukee or any others. Attachments are a little cheap one of the disks broke off a couple of the plastic/rubber nubs. but other than that, works really well.
Thing is awesome, build quality isn't perfect, but its super cheap. Need the 4.0 or 6.0 for heavy use. The head seems to have gotten a little loose after a few hours or hard use, but I'll take it apart to see if maybe it just needs some tightening. Power compares to the milwaukee gen 1 when using the 6.0 battery. The small battery it comes with is only good for light duty use.
I use this tool almost everyday and some days I use it multiple times a day for different projects. I bought some carbide bur bits and other accessories that make this toot very versatile. I also got a 4 amp. battery too. I love the value for the money so much I bought a second one before the next price increase or they quit making them. Yes, I have two.
I have been dying for another brand aside from Milwaukee and Ryobi to make one this mini dye grinder. Hyper Tough has become my favorite brand with power tools. I used this for an entire project of transmission removal and reseal without charging and using constantly. So all I can say is it ROCKS! And not to mention my favorite part which is why I bought this as soon as I saw it aside from owning multiple Hyper Tough tools, it was one fourth to one fifth of the price of the other brands.
Awesome little tool. Works better than i expected. The bigger brands were completely overpriced so i gave this one a shot and its one of my favorites tools. Its battery operated so it doesnt quite have the strength of a pneumatic grinder but it more than gets the job done for me and without hoses and cords all over tue place. Im a machinist so i deburr and polish with it and im satisfied.
It's not milwaukee but then it's 1/4 of its price and does the same job. Possibly just a bit slower. I returned one because it was vibrating too much and producing unhealthy noise. The second item i got was just fine. It comes with a few basic bits which one can use straight away. No need to order and wait unless for special accessories. It's also a good idea to buy the small battery charger station as opposed to using the adapter which comes with the tool. It's quite inexpensive.
Surprised, it is actually pretty good. Bought this instead of using an air powered die grinder. This one lasts a while on a charge, is far more quiet when compared to the air powered and having the air compressor cycle on and off. The speed selector works well to limit RPMs based on limitations of what your attachments can run at. The accessories that come with it work well to. Overall a good purchase, would buy it again. Would be nicer if it was a little cheaper.
Great deal for the money if you can't go with an air driven grinder. Much cheaper than other battery driven grinders. Good for lighter work. Not for heavy work like removing material. First one broke using a rotary file bit to modify a steel channel.
Any tool spinning at 20,000 rpm needs to have a proper machined collet shaft free of wobble. Out of the box the collet shaft wobbles. You can feel the vibration and worst of all the bits will shaked themselves out of the collet. I sold my Milwaukee m12 die grinder thinking this is better deal. To most for sanding it's fine but for precision grinding it's no good.
The price is great Love the size and it was perfect for I needed. It worked great the first couple times after that it would over heat and cut out after only using it for a minute which basically made it useless for saving time on my work just went back to using my drill.
