I needed something for those "tight" spaces and didn't have anything that could do what I needed. Isn't that always the case, lots of tools...but every now and then you find out that you have to get one more tool. After comparing other "brands" the BEST value for the money was HYPER TOUGH. Huge cost savings and does perform as promised. I purchased an optional battery pack to be prepared for those big projects. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

The quality is great for the price.. it's not the highest quality obviously, but it's got good power and I'm able to get into tight spaces and having a power ratchet makes all the jobs so much easier. If you want better quality and use your tool more often buy a higher price .

it made replacing my alternator on my car quick and painless. fits in small places easy. it's a must have. The battery life and power are awesome. and quick to charge, %26 The charge lasts. GREAT DEAL FOR THE MONEY. OTHER PLACES SALE TOOL ONLY, THEN YOU HAVE TO BUY A BATTERY AND CHARGER. COST FROM HARBOR FREIGHT WAS MORE THAN DOUBLE, AND THEIR TOOLS ARE NOT VERY GOOD. Ok so for the price you can't beat it. I have milwaukee ones and the high speed milwaukee is much faster however this one is great for a long neck one. Also I recommend doing what I did which was putting in much higher AH batteries / higher amp load 18650 cells in the hyper tough battery they send you. Also getting the 4ah battery is necessary. Don't believe the AH on these batteries either I tested them and a 6ah brand new hyper tough tested less capacitance and worse under load then a 5ah m12 high output battery from milwaukee. It is a fine battery but just don't think Ah stated on box is everything. The little battery that these come with aren't really good for much as it will run slow and weak. harvest the cells for flashlights and then buy yourself some high draw high amp cells from a known good vendor like 18650 cells . com and slap those in there and you have a compact high output battery

I am a budget backyard mechanic and shopped. I almost took advantage of the HERCULES Buy a Tool Get the Battery Free at Harbor F . $60 for the xtnd'd Free Batt $60...but I still need the Charger. And the 20v/12v Charger at $40 is a no go for me. The charger is on sale for $25 today,..but when I compared the 2 units, they sure look very similar, and the $20 savings and Walmart no ???'s asked warrantee? Done. I needed it to replace the water pump on my 2003 Dakota 4.7. Piece of cake. One of my best purchases.

I'm not a true mechanic, but for every thing i youtubed and worked on in my car...between my mid torque impact and the extended ratchet..... it managed all my tasks that they could fit to.

Hyper tough makes some pretty quality tools. The only thing is I wish this one was brushless as you can see the sparks coming out the side however for the price you're still getting a great bang for your buck. This is the extended version so it helps you get into those hard to reach areas under the hood. It also comes with a few sockets in popular sizes to make it easy to get going right out of the box comes with a charger and a battery so you don't have to worry about getting those separately. You always have the option to buy additional batteries if needed very slim design and the ratcheting function is very strong that Can break away nuts with a decent amount of torque.. overall I'm satisfied with my purchase and looking forward to an upgrade that is brushless.

Broke on me within the 90day period and Walmart would not replace it. I'm looking for my warranty for this item and I can't find it. Can someone please help me with this or contact me about what I can do to replace it

It broke a few months after purchase, I am a DYI handyman, and worst thing there is no way to get in contact with the manufacture to file a warranty claim, and Walmart who is the only one who sells this brand it doesn't know anything about warranty process and obviously they don't cover it if you didn't buy the extra warranty plan.

I bought this 1 year ago THINKING it was a good deal for the $$ and a 2 year warranty. What a mistake. ratchet head broke 3 hours after buying it taking off a 1/4" bolt. Motor still works, ratchet part doesn't. took it immediately back to the store. Store won't exchange it. Web site for "hyper tough" use to take you to a "fix it" site/forum. Walmart corp never gets back to me. DON"T BUY. Figured messing around for 1 year is long enough (tooo long actually). So, I'm just letting everyone know.
