Hyper Tough 20" 125cc Gas Powered Walk-Behind Push Lawn Mower with Briggs & Stratton Engine, Red

I grew up mowing lawns with my grandfather and this is the exact type of mower we used. It's improved of course and much lighter weight, but I appreciate the ease of use and back to basics without all of the crazy technology. Assembly was straight forward as the directions are clear and easy to read. It took about 15 minutes. It runs off gas so you do get the smell but it dissipates quickly. It starts up easily and does a great job cutting the grass to your desired height specifications. The only thing I wish it had was an attachment for the debris. It's certainly not hard to grab a rake and clean up the clippings, but a little convenience is always great too. The mower is relatively quiet and easy to push. The wheels run smooth and it's easy to move from yard to garage or shed. All around a great option for getting a nice lawn.

This is truly a great lawn mower. I'm not typically a lawn person, but lately have been tidying up my own lawn due the Pandemic, let me tell you how this hyper tough mower has helped tremendously. 1st, assembly was a no brainer It comes basically already assembled. It adjusts easily and the movement was very smooth. I cut my backyard in abouy 20 minutes due to the ease and quickness this mower provides. I'd definitely recommend it!

I have been using this Briggs and Stratton lawn mower for about a month now and overall I'd say this is a very good mower. First and foremost, it's a very nice bright red and so lightweight I was very surprised. Upon receiving, it was very easy to put together. The handle folds up and down which makes storing the mower nice. I also want to mention this comes with an oil mixture all ready for you, I thought that was very thoughtful. Now onto mowing! This mower started up with so much ease and because its lightweight it was incredibly easy to push and pull. Most mowers I need them to be able to go forward by themselves or I'm having a very hard time mowing. Not this one, even my oldest children was impressed. The mower also has different heights to mow at depending how tall or short you want your grass. And most of all this Briggs and Stratton lawn mower cut fantastic. The blades are obviously very powerful and sharp. Which the mower also has a decent width of size it mows. Last but not least, this mower ran perfectly and we had no problem finding the gas tank and the oil tank. This mower got me with how lightweight for sure, I'm a very small person and don't have strong muscles so this took me by complete surprise and made me extremely happy that this is now something I can do while my hubby is at work. I know he is very happy with that as well. I couldn't be more satisfied as I am rite now. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone on the smaller side for sure. I'd say it's very durable after using for almost 2 months before as well.

I have a very small yard, but I like to keep it well manicured. Very pleasantly surprised how well this mower has performed. First, easy to assemble out of the box. Oil is included for crankcase, just squeeze bulb (no choke) 3-5 time and pull cord. The very best feature to me is for a 20" mower, I can adjust height about 2 1/2 inches. A tall lawn looks thicker and hides any flaws there may be in the lawn. This little gem should last a long time

This is a nice basic push mower. The mower required minimal assembly prior to operation. The instructions were good, and I was able to manage the assembly without assistance and with no tools needed. The Prime N’ Pull easy start system worked great, and I was able to start it the first time with two pulls. I stopped it several times and was able to restart each time with a single pull. I am a 53-year-old woman, with a bad shoulder, and this small mower was easy for me to handle. I used it to do trim and small areas in a large yard. It would also be great for small yards. The lightweight of this mower made it easy to maneuver. The side discharge mechanism worked perfectly, and I was easily able to direct the cut grass away from the driveway. The mower provides adjustable height options that were easy to change. I like using this mower more than the larger, self-propelled mower that we have. I found the height of the handle a bit high for me at 5 foot 3 inches tall, but it wasn’t enough to make mowing uncomfortable. My husband is 6 foot 2 inches tall, and appreciated the height of the handle. I have only used this mower twice, so I can’t attest to the longevity of this item.

After reading the reviews I was scurred to purchase this mower but boy was I glad I did! I had been wasting so much money paying someone else to cut my yard last yr I refused to see money continue to go fine the drain. I didnt want to spend too much bc I knew Id be purchasing other things like (blower, trimmer, hedges) so this one caught my eye. My bf hooked it up. It came already assembled really! Wish I took a pic of how it looked in the box. At least I believe it did? Any way he had it up in running in no time! Not one big fog of smoke at all! We have used it a good 3-4 times now since r purchase. Good buy!

This review is for the Hyoer Tough 20 inch Side Discharge Push Mower with Briggs and Stratton Engine Our mower broke and we needed something that was economical, yet trustworthy. Usually a lawnmower under 200 dollars would not be ideal, but seeing the name Briggs and Stratton… I knew that it would be worth taking a chance on. Am I ever so glad that I did! I saved myself some money and have a nice reliable lawn mower to last for years to come! The mower arrived in a giant box, already assembled. I just had to pull the handle back, and add oil and gas. It started up right on my second pull. The mower probably weighs about 50 pounds, maybe stands about 4 feet tall. The mower that I owned previously was a Craftsman so my standards are a bit high, and with that being said, I absolutely LOVE this mower. It met my high standards and maybe even raised them! I love the side discharge feature, which automatically blows the trimmings out of your path. I love the easy grip handle, I love fact that I can adjust my wheels lower and higher, and mostly I love that 125cc engine!

This sure gets the job done. Very easy to assemble and came with oil. Al I had to do was assemble and get the gas. Has a 20 inch cutting deck with durable steel and a side discharge chute that disperses grass clippings evenly back to my lawn. Has the prime N' pull easy starting with a 4 point 5 position wheel height. Absolutely gets my yard looking nice in no time.

This mower was not difficult to assemble for my husband. It came with a bottle of oil. The wheels definitely look like they are plastic, but I don't know that will hinder their functionality. From my husband's experience of putting oil in it, this could be a messy job but doable. After being primed three times, the mower fired right up for my husband. With it being winter where I live, I didn't mow a whole yard, but the little bit of use I tried it seemed to work just fine. Overall, this mower looks like it will do what it is meant to do.

Prior to downsizing, I had a Briggs and Stratton mower for 15 years. It was a work horse. When I moved, we moved to a smaller home, which has a much smaller yard. My previous yard was a half acre, this one is a fraction of that. I can mow the entire yard in under 45 mins with this mower. Obviously since it’s a new mower, it cuts well. Very easy to assemble (it is folded in box), and it is easy to re-fold should you need to put it in the car. It’s a mulching style mower- no bag. I’m 5’ tall and frequently have a tricky time pull-starting mowers, chainsaws and weed whackers, this was fairly easy for me. Everything about this mower is great, except this: it has a special blade. Universal blades do not fit. My last mower, I changed the blades over the years- no problem, the mower repair shop always had them and could service the mower. This has a special blade. Last time I checked, it WAS in stock on Walmart.com. I know it hasn’t always been the case though. I strongly suggest you buy an extra blade or two as soon as you can, and just keep them on hand. Other than that it is a great mower in my little, flat yard (I would’ve struggled with this mower on my last yard which was sloped and large). The price point is perfect for an entry level mower, and they do advertise it working best on a small to medium flat yard, so if your yard is sloped or kinda big, start looking at the other Briggs and Stratton mowers that are heavy duty.
