The item arrived quickly and packed nicely. The reviewers that are taking stars off for the item arriving damaged need to consider that the delivery provider may have damaged the item. Considering the specs of the desktop, the price was very reasonable.
It has been a great experience. The primary use of the PC has been for entertainment, casual gaming and productivity. I have had no issued w/ the PC, which include the shipping and condition of the item upon arrival. For the price point this felt like a bargain and I am happy I followed through w/ the purchase.
MY SON RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS PC. HE WAS LOOKING TO BUILD A GAMING PC. AFTER SOME RESEARCH, HE DECIDED TO PURCHASE THE iBUYPOWER GAMING PC. HE SAYS IT IS AN OUTSTANDING PC AND THAT IF HE WERE TO BUILD ONE USING THE SAME COMPONENTS, IT WOULD HAVE COST MUCH MORE THAN $1500.
the only thing that was really bad about this build is the RAM. extremely low 5200 mhz and terrible timings of 38-44-44-44 when a kit of 6000mhz cl30 -36-36-36 is like 5 dollars more but at least it's the cheapest and easiest thing to upgrade. Still worth the price by far
Very good price for the PC specs. Ultimately budget gaming PC that could only be found on Walmart. A reputable retailer in case there were any issues. Never bought anything online before but this is definitely making me reconsider amazon as my online retailer. Very good experience.
Value for money is easily a 6 or 7 out of 5 as of this purchase at $1,500. Machine is made of high quality name brand parts. Crucial SSD, Asus 9070XT Prime. Runs smoothly and quietly. Driving a 5120x1440 ultrawide monitor with it at screaming high settings and it's ridiculously smooth. I put an additional SSD into it and will upgrade to more RAM. I will advise that I attempted a RAM upgrade but the memory in the machine I received had some mildly exotic timings and I wasn't able to mix and match. Wait and duplicate so you don't have to be me!
Reasonable deal on a great product that arrived quickly BUT the shipping process was horrendous! I rather it have arrived later with a better shipping process, OnTrac was awaful! They said it would be delivered on Monday and signature was required so I didn't go into the office and changed my schedule so that I could wait by the front door all day...but it never came. On Tuesday it was delivered and it was just dropped off in front of my door with NO notification and no waiting signature. This was an expensive item just sitting all day in front of my door for anyone to steal. The box was the original box so it didn't even hide what was inside of it.
computer came with corrupted Windows 11 files. was unable to boot the computer up on first try I had to contact the company to have them explain to me how to do a boot up from a flash drive. still unable to figure it out have to call the company again today
The build is too good to pass up, all the pieces are far more expensive to buy separately then to just buy this prebuilt and it's liquid cooling lol. The problem for me is that windows 11 came completely corrupted. At the time of this review I haven't even gotten to play anything I plan on going to Best Buy to get it fixed but I shouldn't have to do that. It should've been ready to play from the beginning…unfortunately whoever put mine together failed to install the proper windows 11.
Was on the edge for get an ibuypower pc. Heard good and bad things about them and with a 4 year warranty, why not? Del was fast and nothing arrived broken. Plugged it in and turned it on. Right away one of the fans stopped working. Messed with the wiring and couldn't get it working. One fan down but all else ok so far. Started to down load games and play them and the problems started to roll in. After getting tired of trying to play games I gave up and decided to reset it and be done with it. Little did I know ibuypower is known for not doing the windows install rights. So, you cannot reset the pc. If you're on the edge like I was, I hope this helped
