Where has this been all my life. I have to drink slowly and my coffee always cools off before I finish. With this I can keep it hot for hours. It looks cool and is easy to use

ok, for those who didn't read the instructions... this cup is amazing, I'm on month two with it, no issues bottom of your cup, hold button until lights flash, choose your temp or whether to put it to sleep... don't forget to do that after your finished... this will keep your drink hot, so hot, you'll need lip balm for the burn if you aren't careful about one hour off charger, then recharge, repeat. my process is simple, fill, drink, repeat. I work up to 12 hours at my office, so do purchase if you are tied to a desk

Purchased for a gift. Recipient was impressed with how easy it was to use and it maintains desired temperature (internal battery). Temperature control is on the cup eliminating the need to control through an app. If you do get busy and forget your coffee/tea it reheats very quickly. Several of her friends have purchased on her recommendation.

The cover does not stay on. I have an older model, and the cover is secure. This cover pops randomly off with hot liquid in it. If you don't care about the cover popping off and just want it to keep the coffee/tea hot, it works great. So I am giving it 3 stars. I also love the copper color.

This does hold heat. It stays pretty hot, even when I don't put the lid on it. Which I don't like the lid. But my issue is it is so small. It says it holds 12 ounces. It does not. I can only brew 8 ounces in it and a little room for cream. And that fills it to the TOP. I can usually drink a 8 ounce cup of coffee a lot faster than a 12. So it would of been more beneficial if it had been a true 12 ounce cup size. Disappointed in the small cup size.

I love my IonMugs, but have had issues with my bronze ones. I have two and both of the charging coasters have melted around the prongs, making the prongs start to sink into their plate. Also, one of the lids bronze coating has chipped. I have had zero issues with black mugs and their charging coasters and do recommend these.

my issue is that it says it is 12 ounces but it only holds 8 and that is to the top of the cup. The lid doesn’t work very well. The cup is plastic and does heat up the coffee.

I have used ion or the cheaper (yet) matching knock off that Walmart sells mug for years - they only last about 2 years, but the more expensive brands are the same. Lately, in the newer models, the button on the bottom to turn the heating element on and off is made so cheaply that it caves in after a few uses, making it really hard to use and clean. I've returned several as this happens within 30 days, but I kept one as it seemed to hold up better. But, after about 65 days, that one caved in as well. The older version of this mug NEVER did that, but I swear, this one uses hot glue or something - it is not sustainable! I will not buy this model again. I'm sad as I really appreciated the durability in the past.

Although this (copper) cup looks great, and has great reviews, the coating on the lid started to peel only after few uses. I can only imagine that it won't be long before the coating on and inside the cup starts to peel as well. This is not worth purchasing and can be hazardous if consumed.

its a great concept, but the problem is, you can change the heat settings, but cant actually turn it off. use it once and you have to put it back on the charger AFTER EVERY USE!
