I got these refried beans because I love being able to make a yummy Mexican meal on short notice. I make my own beans pretty often, but when I'm in a hurry these Isadora beans are a fantastic alternative. I used canned beans for many years, but the taste and texture of these pouch beans are better than any canned beans I ever had, including higher priced organic ones. They're not too salty, there's a good balance of puree and small bean pieces, and they don't have the slightly metallic taste of some canned beans. I'd recommend these to anyone who wants to have a quick, easy option on hand for refried beans with good taste and flavor. They may not be homemade but they're as close as you'll get in a package.

These are always nice to have on hand for quick dinners. The flavor is classic refried beans, and the texture is smooth without being overly runny. I really enjoy these refried beans in a pouch! They are so easy to heat up in the microwave. I sometimes like to add some milk to refried beans for more creaminess so if I do that I just put these into a frying pan and add milk, cook on low about 5 minutes.

These are my new go-to refried beans. I have always found canned refried beans to be too solid and somewhat dry....just not like the beans you get from a Mexican restaurant. The texture is fantastic and the beans are very creamy. And all you have to do to prepare Isadora beans is pop them in their bag in the microwave for one minute. Couldn't be easier.

This is one of our favorite foods. The taste is the same as bean dip in a restaurant. The packaging is convenient. Heat the bag for a minute in the microwave, and it's ready to eat. Add cheese on top, and you have a great dip.

i opened the bag of beans and it came out looking like a bag of mold. they are trying to kill people. That brand is the most disgusting brands in a store that ive ever experienced

The ingredients list has them as vegetarian, the package says otherwise. Fix the description. I didn't try them but Isadora's beans that are vegetarian were excellent
