I really enjoy these refried beans in a pouch! They are so easy to heat up in the microwave. I sometimes like to add some milk to refried beans for more creaminess so if I do that I just put these into a frying pan and add milk, cook on low about 5 minutes.
I have tried dozens of different refried bean brands and this one hands down one of my favorites. I keep these and the black bean version always in stock in my pantry shelf. I use them to make quesadillas or use authentic tortilla chips and make homemade nachos.
These are my new go-to refried beans. I have always found canned refried beans to be too solid and somewhat dry....just not like the beans you get from a Mexican restaurant. The texture is fantastic and the beans are very creamy. And all you have to do to prepare Isadora beans is pop them in their bag in the microwave for one minute. Couldn't be easier.
Amazingly easy to heat and serve as well as amazingly good. Easy to open, serve, and no messy can toss. Ultra creamy and delicious. I served my family these refried beans without any cheese or additional topping and they were a hit! Delicious! The perfect side dish for any meal.
A friend of mine from Mexico introduced these beans to me a year ago and I haven't eaten any other refried beans since. The flavor, the texture, is so authentic. I actually thought my friend made them from scratch! She cooked lunch for us while I worked, while we were eating i asked her for the recipe of her beans, she laughed and said I pulled them out of a bag - ready to cook. I was stunned! My favorite food is Mexican food and I am always trying new items and restaurants- and these are some of the best beans I have ever eaten. (scouts honor 🙋🏻♀️)
These refried beans are so flavorful and super duper easy to prepare! You can heat it up in the pouch through microwave or on stove top, whatever your preference. I tried both ways and they have same outcome, yummy!!! These are way better than canned and am so glad I made the switch!!! They are closer to homemade taste and price is right!!!
Best and more authentic MEXICAN style creamy refried beans. i even cook regular pintos, mash, and mix them with these for real homemade taste. Excellent price for yum !
So much better than the canned ones, better texture, smooth and easy, looser with a less salty taste than the old fried and true canned. They are pricier than canned version but pack better for hiking, rv or lunch box. quick in the microwave.
I found these beans to be terrible. First of all, they literally exploded in my microwave about half way through the cooking time. Then they tasted a bit like plastic. I don't know if there was something wrong with this particular bag, but it looked fine on the outside? I am not going to try them again
The ingredients list has them as vegetarian, the package says otherwise. Fix the description. I didn't try them but Isadora's beans that are vegetarian were excellent
