This is one of the top two Rice-A-Roni flavors in my trials. The Mexican Style is very tasty and not just salty. It pairs well with tacos. I score it much better than the Spanish Rice flavor. I like this flavor more than all the others that I have tried, except the Chicken. This one is better than rice dishes I have gotten at Mexican restaurants. I like it with chicken breast chopped up and mixed into the rice and pasta after the cooking is finished. My family can make a meal of it!

After sauteing the rice in butter (as directed) I added minced garlic, chopped jalapenos, chicken bits and a can of chopped tomatoes and about 4 ounces of water. Came out great and super easy. Don't tell anyone it's rice a Roni and they'll think your a great cook. Serve with a little salad and some flan for dessert! Great product!

Super easy preparation, great texture and tastes close to what you can get in Mexican restaurants. I paired this with grilled shrimp and some white queso and it was delicious!

I've been having this since childhood. Add a little this and a little that and it makes a quick and easy dinner component. The price has always been great for the amount it makes. Can't go wrong, no can of tomatoes needed.

for being boxed rice it wasn't bad,but can we talk about the "shrinkflation" that Rice a Roni has adopted?! 2 boxes used to feed my family,with leftovers,but now 2 boxes barely coats the bottom of the pan.

Typically I have no issue with this item. I get it very often. However this product just wasn't handled professionally in my opinion. The box was warped.. which normally means it was wet at some point and when I opened it to check the rice it was molded. I understand that the risk of something being wrong with a product vs not and wanting to put it on shelves.. but risking it means bad reviews unfortunately. It's disappointing.. I wanted to enjoy Mexican rice with my burritos.

Absolutely disgusting. Pasta doesn't belong in rice. The texture was mushy and gross. Steer clear of this

try for the first time. follow instructions but it had no taste. had to add spices and salt to it. or to have some type of flavor. cooked as instructed on box. but it was very bland
