JBL Xtreme 3 Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

This is a replacement for my outdoor wired stereo for my deck .. I was at a party and someone had this extreme three and I thought it was a huge sound system. Great sound I love this device.. So very happy

so i got it and its great and all but i gotta say my charge 5 jbl is louder...maybe its just me but i like the charge 5 better

Workin construction it's the perfect personal jobsite speaker, I got it slung around my back going wherever the large site takes me. Seems not as "loud" as similar-wized speakers, but because it focuses on better quality and depth of sound and bass over maxed-setting, shrill highs. Perfect amount of durability for what I do, have used the same one for almost 3 years now. It's only real downfall is its small base to sit on, it sometimes will roll over when you set it down. Other than that, best jobsite speaker I've ever owned.

Extreme 3 has great sound quality, because I tried for hours, I couldn't know about the battery life because I just put it back in the Case because it's my husband's Father's Day present, and I can't use it right now for the long term

It's a great speak. Good sound with pretty good bass for it's size especially if placed in front of a wall . It's a bit dates compared to the extreme 4. Not quite as much bass or battery life. Also can't change the battery out like the extreme 4. But it does have an aux input which is why I bought it over another extreme 4. It is about $100 cheaper than the extreme 4 but neither one are the cheapest speakers out there. However you do get what you pay for. I do not regret buying either one.

For the size and the price- its fine. I have a jbl charge 5 as-well and wanted something bigger, bassier and louder in general. I wasn't expecting it to be much louder but overall i noticed that it was more or less the same volume- the trebles made my charge 5 louder id say. In terms of sound- it was just ok, a lot of the time i preferred my charge 5 in terms of sound over the xtreme. I also noticed that the xtreme lacks a lot of the lowdown bass where my charge can very easily handle it. Yes the bass is better but i dont think its better enough for the size/ price difference. Maybe the xtreme 4 is better? Overall id say its a good speaker but for most people id recommend the charge over the xtreme

I've had this for two weeks and very disappointed, I upgraded from my JBL charge 5 to a extrem 3 and the sound is very poor for its size, the extreme 3 is double the size, so how can the charge 5 sound better! Very poor indeed !

I never received the product customer support hung up on me twice no manager was available per Nyla the rep I spoke to then they made me call my bank to dispute the charges verses sending me what I paid for it refunding my money so I’m stuck with no speaker and I feel like you passive aggressively robbed me

speaker is no JBL, a cheap fake speaker that falls to pieces
