Our family love this so much in our sushi rice meals. Although a little pricey but I can say its worth buying since it will really give you the taste you really expect. My whole family appreciated this particular rice seasoning and definitely we will buy again in the future together with the other flavors for our Japan-themed night meals!

This type of rice flavoring is hard to find outside of a Asian grocery, so being able to buy it in a Walmart is great. The taste is as good as any you can get in an Asian grocery or online and the price is right.

FURIKAKE. It ain't for everybody. For those of us who do like it; it really snazzes up anything you put it on. Try it and if you don't end up liking it; Trust me you'll find someone who really digs it.

This topping is a staple in my house %26 I have gotten a lot of people to try it. i put it on boiled eggs, rice, quinoa, %26 more. I am so glad that I found this.

Oh my gosh, this is delicious. I discovered it at Kroger when it was on clearance and fell in love with it and found it at Walmart. It has a sweet taste to it. I definitely recommend it!!

I have had furekake for over 33 years, a boss of mine owned a restaurant out of her mother's house… she was of Japanese decent and she came to work one night to eat her dinner and it smelled wonderful and I asked what she was eating and she told me so she gave my wife and I a bottle and it was amazing!!!! I mean instant rice, add butter and soy sauce then add this product to your liking and in about 5-10 minutes you have a meal and I am a carnivore! But this is an entire meal….!

Purchased 3 jars in April 2025 at $2.48 a jar as this is one of my favorite flavor variations. I noticed in Oct.2025 the price has TRIPLED to almost $9.00 a jar (this is not a good deal, do not know why the humongous price jump, maybe just a particular seller). If you can find it for $3.00 a jar or under, I recommend you buy it as it is delicious on more than rice … if you make onigiri rice balls for a packed lunch, add this to them!

This tastes extremely good. The sesame seeds in particular are the best part. But there is a warning on the back that it may contain lead or lead compounds. I don't understand why it says that, but this is NOT something you want to see in a food/seasoning product! Perhaps it's a harmless compound — they don't get specific at all in the warning, but if they have to have a warning like that, unless they can actually say it's harmless (which they didn't) they need to find a different compound that doesn't contain lead.

bought this and didn't realize until a month later when I went to use it that it clearly states on bottle "do not eat"! which is def NOT advertised on the app!! it also says may cause lead poisoning... for sesame seeds and seaweed??!! this shouldn't even be advertised as a food product then!! I'm tired of buying things after going over ingredients list just to get them and they read COMPLETELY different then what Walmart is advertising online!!! tired of deceptive and fraudulent companies!!
