Overall, this has worked great for my workouts! Fairly compact considering the much larger, more expensive options. The pull-up bar you do have to lift your feet off the ground if you're taller than 5'10”. It's held my husband and fairly sturdy for dead hangs (around 230 pounds). I don't anticipate putting more than 300 pounds on the bar for anything, but it definitely seems to be sturdy! The hooks are pretty easy to adjust, too, sometimes take a little finagling. Definitely would recommend for a budget friendly option!
needed something to fit in my small garage. (townhouse). Only around 40" off the wall. Decent height for pull up bar (I'm 5'10"/195lbs) Feels sturdy when doing exaggerated pull-ups on purpose to test the footing. Can be attached to the flooring if desired. Mated it with a 300lb Olympic Weight set. 7' barbell. Nice starter setup.
Perfect gift for my husband He was happy with the quality of the product
Great rack, simple to put together, strong and sturdy and well made. Don't know about heavy duty lifting but standard it's great.
Quick and easy assembly, took me 30 mins tops. Very sturdy and quality is pretty decent. I recommend this if you want to built simple home gym.
This squad rack exceeded my expectations. The picture on the website doesn't do the justice to the rack. I am trying to build my own gym to save money on a gym membership and I went with this one because it's not very expensive. It actually has a rust resisting coat which is great because it's outside and with the humidity in Florida it would be rusted very quick. It's very sturdy and well built. The levels of the bar holders are great and adjustable for different heights. It's really stable and different exercises with rubber bands can be done on it as well. The pull up bar is wide enough to do regular and wide grip pull ups.
I purchased this squat rack for my home gym and found that this is really a good deal due to its reasonable price and high quality. One attaction of this rack is its multi-functional design, which makes me to be able to do various stress exceises. And, what makes it more interesting is that It is so sturdy that my toddler son can use it for his swing playing.
This was a great addition to my home gym. I was looking for a squat rack and a pull up bar, so I decided to get this to get both at the same time. Assembly took 40min-1 hour. I really enjoyed the process, and they made it very easy to assemble with detailed instructions and labels. The overall rack is very sturdy, and will work well on almost any type of flooring. It is made out of high quality metal, and feels and looks nice in my house. The pull up bar is wonderful and offers 3 different types of grips to target all types of muscles. The j hooks are a twist and pull, which is different from most, but does the job well. I put a olympic barbell with 2 45lb plates, and squatting and reracking has gone perfectly. I also bench with it, and have been able to readjust the j hooks to accommodate all the different heights.
I ordered this product to go along with my weights set to expand the exercises that I could do. My son and I use them regularly for the press and squats and it seems like we made the right choice. It's holding up well with no problems at all. My advise would be to take the assembly part seriously and read the assembly instructions. Otherwise, the parts might be put together incorrectly and then have to be redone.
Pretty good rack. Instructions were easy to follow. Set up took about an hour as a single person. I'm not sure what the max weight will hold. Hoping 415lbs. The weight pegs on the side are fragile.
