Was on the fence about purchasing this or the ring camera. Ultimately decided on this one as it was much less expensive. I've been needing one as we've had some thefts in the area lately. I'm somewhat rural and everyone around me works during the day and the thefts have occurred during the day. This little camera was easy to set up and has an awesome picture quality. The app is very easy to use and I like the fact that I can check on my house in real time. It has a very wide range of view so I can see the entire front yard and driveway. The protection packages are very reasonably priced but are not necessary. I highly recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive but good quality security camera! It does require a good signal for setup on your wifi but once connected you can move it wherever you want.

Took me a while to get the camera to pair. Instructions were not very helpful. But it has a great picture and now that it's hooked up, it works wonderfully.

Absolutely garbage camera system. Never detects motion when there are people walking directly towards the cameras line of sight but somehow can always detect when a tiny bug moves across the far upper corner. basically useless

I wouldnt know how this works because i cannot get it to connect or recognize my network. Put a call in to the company and was told someone would call me back in 48 hrs? This piece of junk is going back to the store and im getting a refund. I have had issues with other things pairing to my wifi but could always get the to resolve. Not this camera. AND you have to have a subscription and they dont tell you that when you buy the camera or advise you on the packaging. I was also told that not being able to connect to your network is a problem they are having, Now i have to waste my time and money to take this junk back . Search on for a camera that actually works

Motion detection DOES NOT WORK. Will not pick up or notify for people. Even if you stand right in front of the camera and wave. Only picks up bugs and light from neighbors TV. If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought a Wyze the same day. Works way better and is cheaper. Taking back tomorrow. Oh yeah customer service is a foreign call center and I was literally told, "we do not care, take it back." RUN!!
