This cereal is chocolatey and delicious. I've been able to eat it as a filling snack with a glass of water and feel satisfied for hours. It IS high in fiber, so those with gut problems may need to avoid it, but it is absolutely my favorite snack. I pack some in my lunch most days.
LOVE the Kashi Go: Honey Almond Flax I normally don't eat cereal and I try to avoid carbs. HOWEVER, this cereal's nutritional values work for me. I can eat a bowl of this cereal and not feel weighed-down or bloated and I feel satiated longer. I also noticed this cereal has kept me regular, if you know what I mean. I have not noticed any issues with gas, as some reviewers have reported. Sometimes I have it as a snack, sprinkle it on yogurt, and even use it on top of fruit. I am currently looking for some healthy recipes using this cereal. Please Note: The Kashi website has their own recipes, if anyone is interested. If you are looking for a delicious and healthy-ish cereal, go ahead and give this a try. It has a slight sweetness with a nice crunch. If you are worried about it being too crunchy, just let it sit in milk for a couple minutes before eating it. I am so glad I found this cereal!
This cereal is so good! amazing that it's also healthy! it's sweet fruity flavor is great and the cereal also hold up in milk... no squishyness. Though must of the time it ends up in ziplock bags in my purse for a sweet to-go snack.
Peanut butter is good. Crunchy. But you gotta chew for a while to break it all down. Very dense plus the time it takes allows for your natural "I'm full" to kick in, so you don't want but about half of what you normally would eat. I don't know if I'm going to purchase again. Probably not. Just too heavy and dense for breakfast for me.
I tried Kashi years ago so thought I'd try their protein cereal. It's okay. Don't know that I would buy it again, as it tastes okay but whatever they use for the protein makes you really have to work at grinding it up by chewing extra long and it's really dense.
i need a ceral to be tastey enough for a snack but was looking for less sugar and maybe healthy but i dont like the taste of this compared to granola i would prefer granola. not much flavor, the honey granola i usually get may be a little pricier but tastes good and gonna stick to that.
The product is fine; the delivery service however was THE WORST. Multiple packages were delivered to a BUSINESS location and left OUTSIDE the front door. THE DELIVERY ADDRESS WAS NOT TO A HOUSE and ALL items should have been delivered INSIDE the building. One pkg was left outside the BUSINESS DOOR *after 7:30pm* and I'm amazed it wasn't stolen. I specifically requested delivery on TH Feb 26th, and one was delivered after 7:30pm on WED Feb 25th. The Business was open on TH Feb 26th and should have been brought INSIDE, not left OUTSIDE the door. I WILL NEVER HAVE DELIVERY AGAIN - if this is the way you do deliveries. JUST HORRIBLE
This cereal (I purchased two different varieties, the chocolate is the worst, PB not quite as bad) should be outlawed. As others have stated repeatedly, this cereal (if you can call it that) is hard as a brick. Best wishes trying to grind this crap up.
If crunch is all you care about, the recent recipe change may win you over. This cereal is literally rock hard now. I let it soak in milk for five minutes and still damaged a tooth. Flavor and texture aren't what they used to be. Overpriced junk now. I'm sure some executive made the call and now makes more money, but that doesn't benefit the brand or the customer.
This used to be my absolute FAVORITE cereal. I eat it almost every morning when I wake up. It had that beloved chocolate taste as other sugary chocolate cereals, but with more fiber and protein. I just poured myself a bowl of the new recipe and it's not even chocolate-y anymore!!! 😭 It tastes bland, (still) crunchy, flavorless. To say I'm bummed is an understatement. Please go back to the old recipe!!! Why was it changed? I just returned the 2 boxes I had in my pantry. I'm now on the search for a different chocolate cereal with high fiber and protein. Not sure if it exists though.
