I love the packaging too! my kids love to make peanut butter balls for the birds out of these and hang them in our trees for a nice winter snack for our lovely wildlife! i definitely recommend this varied blend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kaytee Birder's Blend bird seed is great so far. It seems high quality and there have been lots of birds at our bird feeders! It attracted lots of birds and works like a charm! The cats love it. I'm hoping to see cardinals soon! The price is also very reasonable for the amount and quality of seed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blend is ok. I love that is has black oil sunflower seeds in it, and the millet and corn is enjoyed by the Doves. But I'm not a big miso seed as it's a filler and not eaten by any of the visitors to my yard. Also a bit pricey for 5lbs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually they say it's for the birds. This time not so much. I'll just say for the money I feel there are better blends that will give you more bang for your buck. That being said I I like that it has black sunflower seeds. The blackbirds,  grackles, cowbirds devour it because of the corn and millet, and mostly I prefer they don't storm my yard. The Doves enjoy it as well.  But I don't care personally for the milo seed as it's a filler and not eaten by my yard visitors.

I have purchased more than 3 large 16 pound bags of this and I am really disappointed. I thought Kaylee was a good brand - and maybe it is - but my patio is covered in corn. Even the chipmunks won't eat it. I do believe there is more corn than any other seed. I am buying a different brand now. (and BTW, the pet flavor is NOT cherry - who writes these descriptions?????) And there are more ingredients than just sunflower and safflower. Sure enough, corn is the second ingredient. I am sorry to say I can NOT recommend this product.
