need to season like onions salt pepper garlic made burrito pricey a lot !but good pork also another comment what the heck happened to wal marts beef hot dogs the great value ones did they sell out the recipe or what to canada i read somewhere??? anyone know what happen ??to those hot dogs ??they were awesome walmart!!!! gwt thm bk please this 🌼

I received my cans in perfect condition for long term storage. Has to be better than freeze dried and doesn't require water. The Cans have an expiration date of 5 year. They say these can last indefinitely if not dented. Rusted or bulging and stored in the proper condition.

This canned pork is as good and delicious as the frozen brands out there . And pure clean ingredients for us that are celiac and have severe allergies to soy products and have to order gluten free and now with the soy allergy have to add vegan diet to my label reading. I found this company on the Walmart website and trust me I highly recommend this brand keystone and all of their other products that they have in stock. Fast delivery and shipping is free if you have the Walmart membership. You all know how hard it is to find food for us to eat and time consuming to have to read every label on anything that you buy and cook for your family. So go online and check out all of the products that keystone brand has . Thank god finally a company that knows how to make pure food that tastes good too.

Keystone Pork is a good tasting, convenient alternative to fresh pork. It's great in many dishes, especially stews and casseroles. Having something that doesn't require long cooking times , and doesn't need to be defrosted makes meal preparation so much easier on busy days.

I opened my first can of this pork two days ago. I made a stew with it, and it is still feeding me. The good thing about this pork is that it is not swimming in water or fat. There are only the natural juices and salt added. Since it is already cooked, it saves me time. The quality and texture are excellent. Recommended.

Really I was expecting to be less than thrilled about the quality and taste of canned pork. However, this was not the case. The meat looked fresh. It tasted fresh. There was not even a hint of that “canned” taste. I am quite pleased with this product, and I have added it to my food list here. What a value for the price!! I am now excited to try the chicken, beef, and ground beef.

I keep several cans handy. No cutting up fresh meat and cooking first. Open the can, drain the juice, the meat is tender and flavorful and just shred it with your hands. Put into soups, ramen and veggies, into tacos, over rice with gravy. I really like the pork best of all! The chicken is good too. It is not dry. Use it the same way.

The 1-star rating is for the Walmart/FedEx delivery. As always, I instructed them to put my iems in a covered location, but they still just left my packages outside to be rained on. I will stop using Walmart/FedEx %26 start using Amazon's in-garage delivery for my future purchases.

12 cans various Keystone 28 ounce meats order received 10 dented/crushed cans. Returned them to walmart. They replaced the 10 dented cans with 10 more dented cans. I had to pack them up and shipping them to walmart again. 3 hours of my time on the phone and driving twice to the fedex store. it took 26 days to finally get a refund. walmart shipping and packing is the problem yet they tried on more than one occasion to blame fedex . My account was put under review like i was trying to scam walmart into giving me a refund and allowing me to keep the canned meat. Keystone is a long term shelf stable food than can last over 5 years but only if the cans are not dented at the seams or top and bottom lid near the side. Walmart seems to think a piece of brown kraft paper or a air bag is enough to keep a 1.75 pound can from rolling around in a box, its laughable really.

The low rating is for Walmart.com not Keystone meats. I do not recommend anyone purchase these meats from Walmart online. Every order has arrive with severely damaged and dented cans. Out of the 12 cans I've ordered, in addition to other canned goods I've ordered from Walmart, only 1 Keystone Pork arrived without damage. I have had to return cans from every order. You're better off ordering your canned goods from another store. I do not recommend.
