Simple and compatible
This model of smoke detector fits the mount of the previous model that it replaced. It is also smaller in diameter which makes it less eye catching on the ceiling. Same 10 year battery life as the previous model.

The smoke detector has a 10 year lithium battery which is great! The carbon monoxide detectors are mounted at knee height, so that'll be easy to change their batteries.

Great two-pack
These are two very necessary items for your home. the smoke alarm is great because it has a 10-year battery and never needs touching for battery replacement. the whole unit just gets replaced in 10 years. Both are pretty easy to install, come from a reputable company and are reasonably priced. I bought two sets and then a third smoke alarm, throughout all of my old ones and just revamped everything in my house
