We are renting a house that came with a pizza oven so we are having a great time using this flour to make some amazing and delicious pizzas. So simple too. I thought it would need so much kneeding, but it only takes a few minutes. Then let it grow overnight for pizza tomorrow.
King Arthur Cake Flour is absolutely top-notch. The texture is incredibly fine, and it makes a noticeable difference in how soft and tender baked goods turn out. Cakes come out light and delicate every time, and it even performs beautifully in recipes that use yeast, giving a great crumb and structure. Pound cakes turn out soft, light, and perfectly tender every time, and it really shines when making delicate pastries that need a fine crumb and smooth structure. While it's not meant for keto baking, it's perfect for anyone who loves classic baking and appreciates quality ingredients. I've even experimented with it in creative ways, like sweet toast-style treats, and the results were fantastic. This is one of those staples that deserves a permanent spot in well-stocked pantries. Reliable, high quality, and worth every penny.
I use this to make French bread in my bread machine. I tried to make pizza, but it didn't turn out too well. I am sure that is user error and not anything to do with the flour! I love the stuff and I buy it frequently. One bag makes three, 1 lb. loaves in my machine. It's a little pricey, though.
Best flour for using to make fried veggies. The 00 flour making a batter like a tempura style. It is excellent.
This is a nice fine cake flower and it's hard to beat/replace this brand. Their products tend to be high quality and reliable. Makes a nice light cake.
You can't go wrong with King Arthur products and this is no exception for Italian-style pizza. Visit their website for great tips, recipes and videos on how to use this product.
I've tried a few different flours for homemade pizza, and this King Arthur Baking Company 00 Pizza Flour is hands-down the best. The four-pack is a great value — at this price, I'm stocking up and not going back to all-purpose flour. The finely milled texture makes a noticeable difference right away: the dough is smooth, elastic, and easy to stretch by hand, and the crust comes out with that perfect balance of a crisp, slightly chewy exterior and a light, airy interior. I get those classic leopard spots on the rim even in a standard home oven, which I never managed before. The crust is thinner in the middle with a puffy, crunchy edge — exactly like authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. It's also remarkably versatile beyond pizza. I've used it for calzones, focaccia, and even some pasta dough, and it performs beautifully every time. The resealable bags keep the flour fresh between uses, and the fact that it's Non-GMO Project Verified and made from 100% American-grown wheat gives me peace of mind. If you've been looking to take your homemade pizza to the next level, this is the flour to get. It's become a staple in my kitchen, and I'll be buying the 4-pack again. Highly recommended!
My first impression regarding this flour was pure joy! Finally, I thought I can get that authentic taste from pizza at home. The problem began when I went back to the second bag to begin my dough. When measuring out the flour a saw a brown speck that I recognized as a bug. Of course I associated the bug with my pantry and quickly tossed it. I then opened another bag, mixed my dough and began shaping the pie after rising and saw another bug. I pinched it from the dough and g ch continued stretching my dough only to see a second bug. There's no way that came from my pantry as I'd just opened it. I'm tossing the bag and finding another flour company.
THIS SUBCRIPTION WAS CANCELLED SEVERAL MONTHS AGO AND YET HERE IT IS ONCE AGAIN.........................DO NOT DELIVERY KING ARTHUR FLOUR..............................I DID NOT WANT TO RECEIVE IT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.......................CANCELLED.................
Followed directions on package and could not get a good pizza dough. Even looked at a video online and both times the pizza crust was horrible. I am a fan of king Arthur flour, but this one is a disappointment.
