Real hickory flavor

SUNSET July 24, 2016

Did chicken thighs and Myron Mixon poultry dry rub on a Weber performer Deluxe yesterday. Awesome results. Used a chimney starter, coals hot and ready in 15mins, used a combination of direct and indirect heat. Chicken on for 20 mins, then flipped em and another 15 mins later ready to eat.incredible flavor. Coals still at 350 four hrs after cook...going to use the Mesquite coals today on some Ribeyes

The best

I found the Hickory Charcoal works the best for me,when smoking meat along with some fruit wood such as apple ,cherry ,peach and some Hickory chips.Makes it over the top.

Nothing Better!!!

Prime_or_better April 18, 2017

My dad was a Kingsford man, now I am a Kingsford man. Last year I tried both the Mesquite and the Hickory. I liked the Mesquite for chicken… But the Hickory is the very best flavor I have ever had from a charcoal grill! I will use nothing but Kingsford Hickory from now on. Now for those who put up poor reviews… Kingsford Hickory is not "light it and forget it". You have to tend to it like a guy at a grill cooking up some prime rib-eyes! If you are looking to "light it and forget it" to heat some hotdogs, go get a gas grill. This stuff is for real grilling!

Kingsford hickory charcoal

Gym1224 May 28, 2017

I bought this today it was 3 x's the cost of regular Kingsford charcoal. I had to use about 4 x's as much to get the same result. To cook the ribs I had to remove the ribs put in new charcoal and light it again after only 30 minutes as what was left of the first mound of charcoal was just ash.
