what can I say? it's fabulous. at 68, my hands are no longer able to knead bread manually. I love my KA! It weighs a ton, so I bought a 'slider' and cover and just keep it in the corner of my countertop. The slider is a life saver. You can go wrong with KA. ♥️
Please note: The whisk attachment has to be washed by hand but the other attachments go through the dishwasher just fine. So far I love it! It mixes cookie dough like a breeze IF you use the dough attachment. Cakes and other things mix up completely with the 2 other attachments while you grease your pans and clean up your sink. And it isn't "noisy" like some people said. Plus the bowl that comes with it is big enough and the motor is strong enough for just about anything you'd want to mix. So I give it an A .
I love my new Kitchen Aid mixer. It is such a great help in preparing special foods for the Holidays. It is also a great help as I have painful arthritis and my Kitchen Aid makes the preparations for special dishes, desserts, %26 the like so much less painful. What a wonderful difference it is making.for me.
I have this same mixer for myself, and I ordered this one for my son, because of the quality of this item, above all the rest! I got this item on sale, which is always a great deal! I had it delivered to my son out of state, and he received it the same day!? We are both so happy!!
High quality, on sale and even had the color I was looking for which I could t even find on Amazon! I will definitely start using Walmart for online shopping.
I bought it for my girlfriend I purchased her one 10 years ago and finally wore out she says she likes this one better because it has a handle on the mixing bowl excellent product would definitely recommend!! Hey if she’s happy I’m happy
For the Price the warranty is only 1 year unless you pay an extra monthly fee. Currently for repairs it is $35, for round trip shipping $25-30 for diagnostic fee which is applied to parts and service which can go over $200. ? cheaper to purchase all new ?? I guess it depends on total repair costs.
ORDER FROM AMAZON, NOT WALMART.COM. I've had the absolute worst experience with Walmart.com on this purchase. I ordered this mixer 2 MONTHS ago. The first time I ordered it, the driver got all the way to my address and cancelled the order outside of my door which I was told was due to a 'family emergency'. The support team told me that I had to reorder the product since the first order had already been automatically cancelled. I reordered it and still had issues with delivery, the driver made me meet them over a block away and I had to carry the heavy box to my address myself as I walked to find them. When I went to use the mixer, it was broken. I contacted Walmart support again to return it for a replacement. I told them that I needed a replacement as I could not receive a refund to my original form of payment. I had to go to FedEx to return the mixer and paid $25 for them to box it up to ship. Then a week later I finally get a notification that the replacement was being processed, only for the replacement order to be cancelled 2 hours later. They automatically issued a refund to my original form of payment which I had expressed numerous times would not work for the payment used. I chatted into Walmart Support again immediately and they told me there's nothing they can do. They recommended that I reach out to the bank, however it was purchased on a corporate account so it does not work that way. Furthermore, they told me that the replacement was cancelled because the item was out of stock but the website states that they still have 9 left in stock. Their solution? We can offer you a $10 credit for my inconvenience. So I've now lost $300, 2 months of my time and to top it off I cannot reorder the product again due to their inventory issues. Next time, I'll order from anywhere else.
I ordered this item four different times before finally receiving it. Every time, it either went out of stock or my order was cancelled, which was very frustrating. I previously owned an older model before my recent move, and that one was much sturdier. This newer version does not have the same build quality. The handle especially feels flimsy and sharp, to the point where it’s uncomfortable and almost hurts your hands. I definitely didn’t expect this from KitchenAid. The only thing I truly like is the color and the motor, but overall the quality is disappointing compared to older versions.
So disappointed in this kitchen aid mixer. My original from 16 years ago but the dust so I picked this one up and it does not even compare. Feels like it struggles to mix cookie dough. Doesn’t feel like it will last through the holiday baking. The bowls handle is much thinner and hurts my hand to hold. Extremely sad for the price how the mixer went down hill. Makes me wonder if I got a bad mixer or if they are really made this poorly now days.
