if you do a lot of cooking that requires any straining, this item is just what you need. it leaves your hands free for everything else that you have to do. It fits perfectly over most sinks and the liquid goes right down the drain.

We just love kitchen aid products and the durability. We built a new home 7-years ago and the first thing we replaced was our dishwasher because it was so noisy. We replaced it with a brand new Kitchen Aid dishwasher.

Love the expandable sink basket. fits small to large sink has a big mesh basket to hold food and very easy to clean.

A little expensive for a strainer, but it was the cheapest price I found for this product which is why I chose to purchase from walmart.

It is perfect for the job!

I love most KitchenAid items, well designed and long lasting, this is no exception. It is a large colander with handles that can be pulled further apart (works well in sinks). I only have one problem with this but it was enough to cause me to purchase something else; it is heavy. This is fine if you have no issues with your hands, I have serious issues with mine. Twice I spilled pasta onto the floor by accident (I have severe arthritis in both hands that has also made them very weak). I ended up purchasing a lightweight plastic one that works better for me. I gave this to my daughter, her husband does most of the cooking and loves this colander! 😁

I like this product, but it's just heavy. I did not expect that.
