Our bird feeders hang from a tree. My husband has been determined to find a way to keep the squirrels off the feeders. He has tried so many other options, without much success. NOW however, the squirrels keep trying to get to the feeders, and they keep falling off - totally BAFFLED! * I believe Danny enjoys watching the squirrels as much as the birds ;) We use the baffle as an umbrella below the tree, about 8 -10 inches above the feeder. We have it mounted on a light metal pole. The squirrels manage to come down the pole - and then slide off to the ground. Again and AGAIN. Occasionally 1 will grab the wood on the feeder, but quickly falls. I definitely recommend this baffle!

Putting it together some of the screws/bolts threads were damaged making it difficult to put together. So far so good, it is keeping the squirrels off the feeders.

Fixture was a little loose on the pole… Needed to put some duct tape on it to hold it in place. Would have been nicer if it was adjustable to secure it to the pole

I didn't read desciption thoroughly, so I was not expecting a paper baffle. It is too light to keep the squirrels away. They are able to spun it, jump on top of it and get seed.

prevented squirrels from their original attempts- then they eventually just jumped onto the bird feeder 4 feet high directly- will need a taller pole to be effective. Product is good- squirrels are clever...don't worry about it.

The listing doesn't tell that this is a 3 piece unit. The directions don't advise that this will not go over a shepherd's hook pole. I had to disassemble part of it to get mounted.

I would say a picture is worth a thousand words

This thing is made of plastic! Every other baffle I've ever purchased was always made of METAL and for a lower price too! This thing has like 25 parts to it and needs tedious and annoying assembly which I've never had to do before with a baffle!!! Usually you get the metal baffle and just attach it to your pole! This thing is total junk and so disgusted. Would NOT recommend. I also never buy plastic ANYTHING which I avoid at all costs! Plastic breaks down into microparticles eventually and it is ALL through our oceans, our soil and our bodies! Plastic is one of the WORST things ever invented and can't believe they are making BAFFLES out of plastic too now. Unacceptable!

Squirrels figured out how to climb over it in a couple days, after a couple weeks it slowly sank down the pole tip the ground from their weight. I'd return it but it's covered in bird droppings now.

This item did not setup or assemble well. It also did not keep the squirrels away. Oh well, we will continue to battle the squirrels who are stealing the bird food. Thanks
