Great cornbread taste and texture. It’s just sweet enough without being too sweet. I make mine in a 8x8 pan and it rises just to the top of the pan. You can get 9 nice squares, enough for a couple of meals. I just refrigerate the leftover and microwave each individual piece. They are just as good as home made and take much less time for the same taste.

I buy a box of Krusteaz Honey Cornbread mix every month, but have never made cornbread with it. I use it as a breading for chicken or fish. I use it alone for a light sweet breading or mixed 50-50 with Great Value Seasoned Coating mix for a sweet and crunchy crust. It is really, really good.

I usually pride myself on 'from scratch' baking, but I have quit trying homemade cornbread after using this mix. It's just the easiest and the best. We love it alone or in recipes (particularly love it with Southern Living's Chicken Tamale Pie recipe, which is where I first used it). :)

This cornbread mix is great as a side dish with Mexican dishes. I follow the recipe with the exception of the oil, I use butter, plus add a can of cream style corn. It bakes well and tastes great!

This is the best Corn Bread. I always add 2 tablespoons of sugar and a half can of corn. It makes it more like a corn bread cake. My family loves it 🥰

This is really good corn muffin mix! Great trusted brand, I bought it just to try it and I have continued buying it ever since. I keep it on hand to eat with soups, stews, ham and beans, anything you might have a bread style side with. It has really good texture and is actually kind of sweet, but not too sweet, again it is very good. You need to try it if you haven't already!

best corn bread mix. I was using jiffy until I discovered this. even my husband asks me where I get this cornbread from. we use this more than jiffy . must buy

Rediscovered why we like this brand and particular choice so much. It’s just so good, makes a great batch every time, just the right sweetness, moist, not dry n crumbly that you nearly have to choke down. Goes great with any bbq meal, chili, fried chicken, pork chops as a casserole base and the list goes on,

The cake-like texture and taste of this honey cornbread were very good. Rise was high. However, I couldn’t eat it because it’s so very sickening sweet. I then tried the Krusteaz Southern cornbread and, although not too sweet, the taste and texture (dry and grainy) were awful.

It's basic. Jiffy is better. This box cost too much for it to not be better than Jiffy's version. It also has a corn meal after taste. It taste box made not homemade. You will be able to fill once loaf pan, not a full rectangular pan etc., with this one box that is priced too high.
