Not just for muffins
I have been using Martha White muffin mix for years. I always have some packages in my pantry so I will have on hand. These are really tasty muffins. Recently I found a recipe to use the Martha White muffin mixes for making waffles. Do not follow the directions on the package. You make with one egg, 2 Tbsp oil and 2.3 cup milk. I have the Dash mini waffle maker, and this recipe makes perfect waffles. I have so much fun using the different Martha White muffin mixes and the Chocolate Chip is one of my favorites.

You don't need eggs!
For a baking product that I don't need eggs I love it. Sadly, without eggs the texture can be iffy. As a person that dislikes eggs, I'm happy with the product.

add 1 banana for easy muffins
If you frequently buy bananas and end up with some brown ones, you can mix one brown banana with one bag of this mix to make banana chocolate chip muffins.

We do not use this product for muffins but rather we add an egg and 3/4 cup milk and turn it into delicious pancakes. Easy to make, taste great, enough for 2 people.

A staple in my house
Just add milk and mix. How much easier can you get? I make these in a mini muffin tray and they have replaced the over priced boxes prepared of mini muffins. My kids love them because they are simple enough for them to make.

DELICIOUS easy and fast!
If I could give these 10 stars I would. All of the flavors are amazing. SO EASY and quick to make. 1/2 cup milk, mix %26 bake. Can have a dozen muffins done in less than 20min. Delicious delicious delicious

Actual chocolate chips! One of the better flavors
Comparing this only to the other Martha White Muffin Mixes, this is pretty near the top. Unlike the berry varieties ones (where the "fruit" is made of gelatin/corn flour/sweetener/coloring -- except for banana nut! has actually banana and nut), this variety contains an abundance of the star ingredient: semisweet chocolate chips. It's not as nice as my favorite, the chocolate chocolate chip, but it's pretty good and I'll continue to get this when they're out of my favs (or just for change of pace). PS: The lemon have no lemon, either.

Martha White Muffin Mixes
These muffin mixes are not good! I have tried four different varieties and none have good flavor. I don't like the texture either. Yesterday I decided to add an egg, thinking that may help both texture and taste, but it didn't!

Dry and almost flavorless
I don't get they hype around this brand of muffins. I made them as directed and they were so dry. There is almost no flavor from the "chocolate" in them which was disappointing as well. I managed to salvage the other packages I had bought by adding melted butter to the mix when making them. It helped a lot with the moisture content, but didn't do much for the flavor.

They are quick to mix up (just adding one ingredient, milk). The texture is very dense, almost biscuit like, very dense They didn't not rise very well and the taste is just ok
