Kwikset 690 Tylo Keyed Entry Knob And Sgl Cyl Deadbolt Combo Pack in SC

I replaced all my locks in my home door knobs and deadbolts with the same brand that were there I've had good luck with this brand. the other ones lasted for 50 years, I don't see why the new ones won't last another 50 years. I hope I'm around when they wear out.

Easy to install and workes well. Very lovely color and shine. 45 minutes to take out old lock and replace new deadbolt and knob. If the meadutements are off the product is adjustable. The instructions were clear and easy to read. All you need is a phillips head screwdriver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had 1 combo set, then purchased 2 more and used the Smart Key to be able to use 1 key for the whole house. Easy install however had I not called Kwikset I would NOT have known about the free special tool they can send to reverse the door knob cylinders so that the key hole insertion is the same direction/configuration as the deadbolt - which is needed depending on what side of the door it is being installed (right vs. left). This definitely should be mentioned within the instructions and/or the tool automatically included as other brands can be reversed without a tool.

I didn't receive what I ordered. I have ordered this product 3 times and keep getting the wrong product. I really need these locks for two doors. Not happy with the order.

The description says it has smart key but I did not receive knobs or locks that could be rekeyed with the smart key tool. We didn't notice this until we installed half of them and couldn't sync to the master key...
