Everything about this product is amazing. My kids are big KPop fans so they try different Korean brands and this one here is fire as they say

Being a shipt shopper at Target, one comes across many different items that one normally wouldn't think to buy, but ends up asking “Oh, what made you choose this one?” It's how I've switched creamers, snacks got introduced I never would've bought before, and other miscellaneous items. I got introduced to Fly By Jing while at Target. Been loyal to them for awhile, and it wasn't until recently that I chose to look at Walmart reviews, putting in my Walmart order. How reliable since most complain about their order missing items or not being sent the correct item, right? Well, most FBJ reviews mentioned the oil to crisp ratio, which I knew about. But many have said to try Laoganma because the crisp to oil ratio is better, as well as the price. Finally decided to try it last night and sure enough, I'm going to stick with them (Laoganma). So much more crisp (yes you have the crispy beans as someone showed but it doesn't break your teeth, it's chewable), the oil is good, and it's not overkill on spice. Let alone you're getting what feels like more, for less. If you prefer more oil to crisp, FBJ is good. But if you want more crisp like I did, Laoganma is best. I've tried it with the soup dumplings in the freezer aisle, and most recently the steak and cheese burritos also found in the freezer oil. Regardless, I've converted.

My friend from China recommended this product. The chili heat is rather strong for this being the mild version. I like to add some to my salads especially, along with Kewpie dressing. Good texture. Be sure to mix it - oil and paste - before every use.

Lao Gan Ma is unbeatable. It has the perfect mix of crunch, spice, and umami flavor. I use it on noodles, rice, eggs, dumplings—basically everything! It's not just spicy; it has a deep, smoky taste that makes even plain food delicious. A little goes a long way, and the texture of the crispy chili flakes is so satisfying. Definitely worth keeping in the pantry.

First time using this. So I used this on chicken and green beans sheet pan meal, served with rice. I did add some honey to what I used. It's spicy if you don't. It doesn't have peanuts in it. I was surprised to see that in there. But it was delicious.

Item arrived expired

I did not like this product at all. The chili skin is too thick and gets stuck in your teeth and it has some hard things in the oil as well that make it not enjoyable. The chili oil has no flavor either.

My chili oil bottle's seal was broken. The box and packing were saturated with oil. I'm afraid to consume it knowing the seal is broken.
