Love this seasoning! I use it to bring more garlic flavors out in my food after putting fresh garlic in there. And love the fact that it has dried parsley in it. It adds color and more flavor to the dish. Can't go wrong with that unless you put to much and make it too salty, so be careful.
Lawry's Kosher Classic Coarse Ground Garlic Salt is a staple in every Hawaiian kitchen! If you grew up in Hawaii, you know that if you're not using Lawry's Garlic Salt, you're missing out. We always keep a bottle in the pantry because running out is simply not an option. It's our go-to seasoning for pulehu ribs, steaks, chicken, pork chops, hamburgers, and just about anything we throw on the barbecue. Sometimes the simplest seasoning is the best because it lets the natural flavor of the meat shine while adding just the right amount of garlic and salt. That's what makes it so ono (delicious)! One thing about people from Hawaii is that we cook for flavor. We don't waste our time or money on bland food, we want every bite to taste amazing. Even though I live in Texas now, Lawry's Garlic Salt is still one of the first seasonings I reach for. It brings a little taste of home to every meal and never disappoints.
Love this garlic salt! It is the right combo of salt and powedered garlic and some other herbs. It tastes really good on most things, especially grilled meat and veggies, even fried omeletes. And it does not cake up easily like with some other garlic salts.
We have grown up with Lawry's garlic salt cooked in most of our foods! Great tasting seasoning for so many dishes. Hard to find in the store on the shelf, so it's great to be able to find it online and have it shipped right to our door for free from spending a minimum of $35.00.
same brand as in my local market, price was lower. As a senior living on a pension, I honestly feel that those pennies saved do add up. Fast shipping, quick receipt. Another plus was that I didn't have to go to the store and use gas for shopping.
Let me start by saying: Lawry's Classic Coarse Ground Garlic Salt is not just a seasoning — it's a lifestyle. This isn't just salt. This is Zeus sneezing flavor dust into a bottle. This is garlic blessed by an ancient wizard who once whispered into Gordon Ramsay's ear, “Season with confidence.” And now here I am. A changed man. Before Lawry's, I was flavorless — both emotionally and culinarily. My mashed potatoes tasted like warm napkins. My life was in shambles. My wife left me (over under-seasoned chicken). My dog refused to eat anything I cooked. The raccoons stopped coming by. Enter: Lawry's. One twist of the cap and a puff of golden garlic glitter emerged like a culinary genie. I blacked out. When I came to, I was wearing an apron made of lightning, standing in front of a perfectly roasted brisket that spelled the word "REDEMPTION" in grill marks. The flavor? Imagine if garlic had a passionate affair with salt on the cliffs of Tuscany while being serenaded by Andrea Bocelli and then rolled in angel tears and unicorn sweat. That's what this tastes like. The texture? Coarse, bold, confident — the seasoning equivalent of Morgan Freeman narrating your dinner. Since I started using it: My credit score jumped 200 points (TransUnion just wrote “nice.”). My ex-wife came back and we renewed our vows using garlic bread instead of rings. My dog cooks for me now. I can levitate, but only slightly, and only when saying “umami.” Side effects may include: swagger, unsolicited compliments from strangers, and aggressive flavor enlightenment. My neighbor tried to borrow some, and now he runs a five-star fusion bistro out of his garage. Would I recommend this? No. I would command it. Buy Lawry's. Sprinkle generously. Transcend humanity.
Anytime, I don't use fresh or powdered garlic, this is my go-to garlic salt. I've tried others and although I can't remember why, I've always come back to Lawry's ....it's just, somehow, better!
I ordered this on accident once, ended up loving it and now I always have a bottle on hand. It's extremely versatile - I use it anytime I want to amp up the flavor profile of what I'm cooking. And it makes a great addition to burgers!
me and my kids love using this seasoning on a few things especially on homemade mashed potatoes, it is a must and it's been in family's homemade mashed potatoes recipe for ages! the only thing that is keeping me from giving it 5 stars is because past few times I've ran out and have had to buy new bottle of it the salt is not grated tiny anymore it seems and it takes longer to get it to dissolve in your food and sometimes it does not completely so when you take a bite out of your food it feels like your biting down on sand. I completely dislike in fact HATE that!!! secondly the price has went up to an insane price!!! so for those 2 reason this "product" scores to less stars of 5. fix the 2 issues and you'll get a 5 star
It says garlic salt, but it has other ingredients than garlic and it tastes terrible to me!! Why can't someone have just pure garlic and NOTHING Else or Garlic and Pepper, but just those ingredients?? I'm tired of spending money and it not being what it says is in the ingredients!!!
