LEGO Technic Snow Groomer 2in1 Vehicle Snowmobile Set 42148

Fun gift for my nordic skiing husband. Challenging enough for a senior citizen to put together without screaming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute little Lego kit. It is nice that you can build the snow groomer or to go online and get directions to make a snow mobile. The directions are straight forward and easy to understand. I like that it has a 1:1 size bar to measure some of the similar looking pieces. This makes it easier to make sure you have the correct piece. My 6 year old was able to build it with adult help. Overall it is well thought out and I would recommend.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My 8 year old daughter enjoyed putting together this Lego set. She really liked that it can be built as a snowmobile or a snow groomer. Sometimes she gets frustrated with too many pieces but this wasn't too difficult to put together for her.

My nine year old and four year old built this together. They both loved the snow theme and the set was great for their age combination. I'd say my four year old would've needed help without his brother, but would still enjoy it. They both like to play with it now that it is built.

I try to maintain "favorite uncle" status by having a set for him to put together whenever he visits (with the anterior motive of keeping him busy for a while while I catch up with my sister). This kept him busy for at least an hour. Fun and interesting design that worked well. Nothing like this when I was a kid. Def recommend

The entire set was good, but I don't like that you have to put the tracks piece by piece./

Bought 2, mainly with the intention of using for parts to dip a toe into Technics and maybe use for a winter MOC. Display and other playability is good with the back plow moving up and down and the front one doing the same as well as moving side to side. Haven't tried a minifig in the seat but that wasn't explicitly considered in the design. The window doesn't flip open, although a part substitution could resolve that. The track would turn better if 4 rubber wheels instead of 2 were used in the design. Currently it slides on a smooth surface unless you weight it slightly to the rear when pushing. The track itself is just smooth plastic. Maybe it was done so it didn't affect the look from the front even though they are not obvious at the back. So +1 for display value, -1 for playability. Overall recommend as I enjoyed the build, look and playability, especially for the price.

Received an absolutely trashed box with restocking stickers all over it. Was totally embarrassing giving this as a gift, was counting on Walmart
