Great little Air Conditioner unit I have owned several brands. Delivered on time, un-damaged and was a snap to install. It cools a 300 square foot room effortlessly. It will be a couple months before I try the heating aspect of the unit. I expect it to work as well.
This was the smallest AC unit available with heat that operates on 110v...fast shipping
The unit would have been great but the receptacle we had to plug it into was 230v and that wouldn't work.
Cools a 15 x 15 bedroom with a pyramid style ceiling nicely...Install instructions could be more clear as you dont need to remove the chassis from the case for a simple window install and you have to figure out how the black plastic clips that receive the bottom of the accordian slide clips into the bottom of the case because for some reason this is not spec'd out in the instructions...they snap in but with quite a bit of persuasion and a few careful taps of a hammer.
Have not used it yet I liked it for the heat feature that plugs into 110 outlet. Ask me next time we need to turn on some heat. Have not used AC yet.
The air/heat unit works as it should. However, the unit arrived damaged. It was packaged well. So, it probably happened at the factory level and probably not during shipping. There is a crack in the plastic on the front of the unit. And the metal backing of the unit is dented up some. As I said, the unit works as it should. Therefore, I would recommend it to someone looking to buy. I just hope your unit arrives in pristine condition and not damaged.
I will follow up on this rating once my tenant has used the unit & let me know how they like it. Installation was simple. The house has an addition on it & the air vents in the ceiling was not putting out enough heat or air. Please stay tuned, I promise I will be back :-) for an update.
This does not address the air conditioner itself, but be very careful when ordering their installation service because it totally failed in my case, and trying to get it resolved was extremely difficult. In summary, this is 155 pound air conditioner and they sent one guy to do it all by himself, when all the information they needed was readily available; Consequently the installation did not happen and I had to call and ask for a refund, and reschedule the installation. I would think this would apply in any case we're simply sending one person to do the installation is not going to cut it.
The company shipped via FedEx - oh my goodness! I still have not received the three ACs. FedEx reported that a delivery was attempted two times. We were here, and they were not. Mysteriously, they had a problem today and now I am awaiting a fourth time for them to load the packages on their truck and maybe delivery the. To the company-don't waste your time using FedEx. I am unlikely to order from you again.
Item came damaged, order an a/c unit and when we went to install it was damaged and they will not replace it. It has bent the copper lines and has no charge left in it.
