LG 26 cu ft Space Plus Ice System Refrigerator, Black

Suggestion: We would like it if the water function on the front started out slow for a second or so and then increased to full water flow. As it is, water splashes out of the glass. Could also use a removable try under the water/ice dispenser, as something always drops (ice or water).

It was worth the wait. I highly recommend LG appliances.

We bought this refrigerator about 3 weeks ago and I absolutely love it! It is so spacious! I am able to keep it way more organized that our previous frig. And the shelves in the doors are the absolute perfect size! I would highly recommend this frig to anyone!

I received my new refrigerator about a week ago. After living with it for a week, I would say I'm pretty happy with my choice. The refrigerator section is spacious and I love the long drawer at the bottom for cheese and deli meat. The freezer section isn't as big as I expected. I had a side by side previously, the exact same amount of food fits in the drawer freezer. I had hoped it would accommodate more. The lighting is good...so far, so good.

So far we are liking this new refrigerator. Lots of space, but I would prefer a little more options for shelf adjustments and storage, like the foldable shelves on other LG models (example: can't fit a bottle of wine on the top shelf without moving it down and basically losing the whole middle shelf). I like the dual ice option.

The refrigerator is very nice and the sale price was great. The only reasons to knock it back a star, are that you have to push the control panel twice to change from water to ice (once to activate it and once to make your selection) and finally the wifi connect feature only works on 2.4g networks, not 5g. This made it a useless feature for us in that our whole house router has both bands, but the app couldn't make it work unless I first 'disabled' the 5g from the router settings. Who has the time or energy for that, just so I can see my refrigerator's temp from my phone? Failure for LG on the App side of things. On the plus side, having two ice makers is very nice for those times when you have people over.

Dispenses water, but only about a cup is chilled due to very small chilled water tank. Displays temperatures the fridge and freezer are set to, but not the actual temperature, which would be quite useful. Otherwise, the fridge is very nice, inside and out. Be sure to buy the model with dual ice makers because the ice dispenser in the door has a tiny ice storage bin. The second ice maker (in the freezer compartment) is a must-have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit in Nov 2020, had it installed Dec of 2020, Had it 8 months and water filter holder broke inside of unit, had to wait six weeks to get it repaired. Upon investigating this, discovered that this has happened to numerous other people. It seems to be a factory design ( defect ) that has caused people a lot of grief. Had another LG refrigerator with different style water filter and never had a problem.
