The product teamed with the system wirks flawless. The design is timeless. there is no need to reinvent. Technically speaking: if the opener had the same capabilities as the actual opener, Why right? so the homeowner doesn't have to move cars and get ladders to perfect actions As far as the product! This one works great and will for many years. great product.
After trying buy some 15 dollar knock off from another place that turned into a waste of time and then almost buying one at $90 all in, this was perfect
Great remote and quick delivery!
Easy to program and good price!
Finally got it programmed. We will see how it does
Button remote easy to set up
The product was as described but the supplier, not Walmart, failed to fulfill the order fully. I read reviews on the supplier and this seems to be a habit of either not sending the correct amount of items ordered or substituting knock off product for original OEM items. I had to contact Walmart customer service to issue a refund for the missing items and as of yet I have not received it. Buyer beware!
I ordered 2 pcs of same item but I got diferents items ,I Don't know if both remotes work with the garage opener ,in case Don't do it ,How can I return and exchange the wrong one.
The remote received from this 3rd party seller was not a genuine OEM LiftMaster remote. It was a fake replica (aka counterfeit). Unfortunately, all e-commerce platforms seem to be inundated with fake LiftMaster/Chamberlain products being sold by 3rd party sellers that are very difficult to detect the fake. The fake products have exact replicas of the LiftMaster product packaging, instruction manuals, an exact replica of the remote device plastic housing including printed LiftMaster logo on the front, and some of them even have exact replica part number labels on the rear of the remote although this particular one had an obvious fake part number label. Unless you have a genuine OEM LiftMaster product to compare it with, detecting the fake is almost impossible via visual inspection. However, I found several operational quirks and one visual inspection oddity that seem to be consistent with all fakes no matter the sourcing 3rd party seller or e-commerce platform. Here are my findings. 1. The fake remote has a very short operational range apparently due to a weak transmitter often only working when within several feet of the receiver's antenna. A genuine OEM LiftMaster remote will usually operate a LiftMaster opener from > 100 feet even with walls, doors, or other obstacles between it and the opener's receiver antenna. 2. If you have a vehicle with a HomeLink universal remote, the HomeLink system will not recognize a fake replica remote and will not program/train the HomeLink button to be a LiftMaster Security remote. HomeLink will always recognize a genuine OEM LiftMaster Security remote and will program/train a button to that mode. 3. The visual inspection oddity I found is something the average person would not be able to recognize since it involves the circuit board inside the remote's plastic housing and without a genuine OEM LiftMaster product to use as comparison or LiftMaster themselves verifying at this level. I discovered this by accident since I opened the plastic housing to check the battery to see if that was the reason for such short range operation when using the fake remote. FYI the fake remote's lithium battery was at full charge so it was not the reason. However I did have a genuine OEM LiftMaster remote of this exact model to use as comparison and found significant differences between the circuit board information actually printed on the circuit board and different components mounted on the circuit board, e.g. on the genuine OEM version there were circuit board part numbers / revision numbers and many circuit reference designators silk screened onto the circuit board but all the fake replicas had no ciruit board part/revision numbers and very few reference designators. All pics are the fake replica. I received different models of LiftMaster remotes from several different 3rd party sellers on different e-commerce platforms and all them exhibited the same 3 characteristics I listed above. As always "caveat emptor".
I ordered the LiftMaster 893MAX but was shipped the less expensive 893LM which is specific to older yellow learn button models. I have a newer model garage door opener and need the 893MAX.
