I love Lipton onion soup mix because it is so easy to use in recipes to make them yummy my favorite recipe. I use this for is a pot roast that goes in the oven and that makes the flavor so good. The fact that it is dried ingredients with the onions and spices, the shelflife is very accurate. I always buy the box with three packages in there so if I can have it on hand at all times.

I love making your onion soup mix with sour cream as my potato chip dip. One suggestion, if poss, can you make it smaller (1/2 the size of now) to use with an 8oz. container of sour cream? The current pkg requires 16oz. container sour cream. My hub doesnt eat it, i do. After 2 days, however, the made dip turns watery. It's difficult for me to eat that much dip. I bet half size pkg would sell well for you. Any thoughts??

However I found this awesome recipe that uses the onion packet and it is so delicious. You use a slow cooker, and can use pork chops or chicken. You add one packet of the onion recipe secrets. Two cans of cream of mushroom. Fill the empty can of cream of mushroom with water twice and add it to the mix. Before you add the meat to the slow cooker mix the sauce. And season the meat with salt and pepper. I usually cook it on low for about 6 hours. And I make rice and veggies. It is a family favorite. Also, making an onion dip with the recipe secret is awesome too.

We bought a package of onion soup mix today. Hoping to make homemade chip dip. When we opened the box, both packages were not sealed. When removed from the box they just dumped out everywhere.

I bought a box of this to try making a new recipe for the family, and when I opened it, one of the packets were sealed and empty. It's disappointing, because only three come in the pack and I needed all three.

I love the flavor and how it enhances the roast. But your ingredients are awful. Caramel color, MSG and other ingredients. If you clean it up , I and others will buy. I do Not buy now, as is.
