Little Virtuoso - Sing Along MP3

I bought 2 of these for my boys for Christmas ages 6 and 3. It is the PERFECT gift, and at such a great value I wish I had bought myself one! It is extremely easy to use and incredibly durable. Within 1 hr of opening my 2 year old threw it down a set of stairs twice :), it still works perfectly! I am extremely pleased with this purchase. For my 3 year old I loaded nursery rhymes, abc songs and other child songs like "Wheels on the Bus" and "Ol McDonald". For my 6 year old I loaded all the WWE theme songs so now he plays the theme music as he plays with his new WWE ring. The sound is surprisingly good and the microphone really works. Great Value, a true must have for any little person who likes to dance or sing.

This is a great stand alone microphone toy, but you will have to have a flash drive (loaded with songs) in order to play music on the toy. The usb will stick out of the side. It will stay there unless purposely tampered with. That being said, we always find the usb and plug it back in when wanted. We have 3 kids 9, 4, and 3yrs and they all love it. Very easy to operate and our cheap batteries have had a ton of use and still work. It has great sound and isn't too loud. Overall, it is one of their favorite toys and cost the least.

So far this player is serving us well. It has been dragged all over the house by four kids from 8 to 1 years old. Our one year old can use it and all the kids love to sing on the mic. We got a sandisk mini flash drive, it's so tiny that the kids don't mess with it at all. We are very pleased with this player.

Purchased for three year old grandson birthday. He immediately started using it like a "microphone" without any music loaded and loved it! He exclaimed: "Doesn't this make my singing sound so much better!"

I was looking for a player for my toddler. And this is ideal player for him. He loves music all his music on one player and I can change anytime I want. This is a great player and at the right price.

We purchased this radio for our 2 year old and she loves it. It is easy for her run and she loves being able to play her music whenever she wants. Having read the reviews we purchased a verbatim micro usb to go with it, it was small enough to fit on it without breaking if she drops the radio and after explaining to her not to take it out, she has had no problem with it. We purchased an 8GB, but could have purchased a much smaller one as her music (around 100 songs) took up less then 1GB. The down sides of this radio is that it starts on the same song every time so you have to either press the skip button a lot or periodically change the order of the songs on the usb or you will be driven nuts. Also when the volume is up high (which is too high any as this radio get very loud) the music is distorted or wont play. The quality of the materials is what you would expect a child's toy to be. Would buy this again as gifts or if it broke, and would recommend.

It's great for the little ones, very easy for them to figure out. They enjoy the flashing lights on the front and the microphone - although I wish that it could be "unplugged" sometimes. The batteries last a long time. The one regret is that you have to use a flash drive. Would I buy another one...I have already bought three so yes I would. I still have a couple of grandkids that don't have one. They are great.

This is a cute music player. I was playing around with it last night and it seems to work well. The battery compartment is "old fashioned", meaning you do not need a screwdriver or some sort of magic to open it. It just has two tabs that you push to open it up. This may be a minus for some people, but it was a plus for me. Another potential minus that won't bother me too much is that the lights around the front are VERY bright and flash the whole time the player is on. The sound is clear and the buttons will be easy for the kids to use. There is one main problem, however. This player has no memory capability, which was not clear to me from the description. It uses a flash drive, but the flash drive will have to be plugged in and sticking out of the player the whole time it is in use, adding potential for it to get broken. I still think my kids will love it and for the great sale price I bought it at, it is well worth it. I would still recommend it to a friend based on the potential for fun.

Saw this item online but didn't REALLY read description. That is my fault. I probably would have bought the one with a c.d. player instead if I had known (or actually read) that it used a flash drive. What is a bit confusing is the placement of the usb port. It is in a precarious place. Would have liked to see it behind a door like the batteries. Our unit lasted all of three hours for my three year old. After that the microphone stopped working. Once again, would have liked to see a seperate mic with cord. Would be easier to replace and is no more dangerous than having a detachable usb. Decent sound for what it is and my kid loves it, just would like to see the company make a few tweaks to it.

The microphone works great. The lights are wonderful. But, the USB hub for the MP3 player is placed awkwardly out of the side opposite the microphone. Any thumb drive can easily be broken off. You CANNOT download the music onto the player, but must leave the thumb drive attached.
