I purchased this to keep oil for french fries, only french fries. It holds 6 cups which is the perfect amount for fries. I love that it is metal and I don't have to wait until the grease is completely cool to transfer and the strainer keeps the grease cleaner.

This dispenser is so handy. If you like to season or cook your food in a little bacon grease, it's perfect. I love the fact that it has a strainer. I gave my co-worker one as a house warming gift and she loved it.

I am familiar with a grease can...my mother had 1 and my grandmothers had 1...tradition!

The handle and pouring spoutare so convenient unlike others I've had which became greasy and slippery on the sides with nothing to holld on. Love it!

Southern "country cooks" almost always save bacon grease, etc., because cooking with it adds great flavor and seasoning to your food. Most of us have a container for storing it in. Mama's always sat at the back of her gas range top, where the gas burners' pilot lights provided just enough heat to keep the bacon grease pourable. Well I didn't have one. As with most of my purchases, I browsed Walmart offerings. They have more than a couple that looked adequate. This version seemed perfect. I'm happy with it. This utensil isn't rocket science! But it's essential to me. And this brand will fill the bill for years to come.

my grandma had one of these that she kept on the stove. this unit meets all functionality requirements for straining and storing oil. the only reason i didn't give it a 5 is because the handle does conduct a little heat if you fill it with hot oil. Maybe a piece of plastic on the handle like the lid would improve the design. It's still a great product.

yes.I could of just used a coffee can..but I wanted something that was cute and functional...no real reason to spend alotta money on something like this...this Grease can works just fine and the price and size was more then Right....I actually look forward to saving my Grease so I can use this thing

purchased this to use as a backpacking cook pot. Just a little large but will work fine.

looks beautiful...!! but looks can be deceiving!... liquid leaks out through bottom of handle very slow so it is not noticed for days. Attempted to contact customer service and was on hold for more than 1 hour. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND....--IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS FOR RATING I WOULD BUT IT ALLOW ME SO THIS IS THE LEAST THEY WOULD ALLOW
