Mainstays Can Opener and Knife Sharpener, Bottle Opener with Removable Cutting Lever Black

I really like the price, and the fact that not only is it a can opener; it's a knife sharpener and has a bottle opener. I'll be using this a lot when I move, which I am definitely looking forward to, considering. Anyway, if you don't have this product, you may want to buy it, because it is extremely reasonably priced, as well. 👍

I'd like others to know that I'm getting pushed to write a review on my items and some I have not used yet like this one, but I did push the handle down and it does work. The price is very 44443good and I love that it has a knife sharpener on the back side. I'll definitely be using both features of this can opener.

I had purchased one of those one touch openers that spin around the can. It did not fit my regular size can. This can opener is one tap and it accommodates multiple can heights. I am very pleased with this purchase. I can no longer use manual can openers in an emergency.

There's a little difficulty with trying to line the can up with the puncturing blade.It takes a few attempts for the magnet to securely grab onto the can and for the blade to puncture the can while remaining attached.I like the can opener is a nice black color and smooth simple yet sleek and clean design ,built in knife sharpener and storage area for the cord

It is a fine product for the price. the one star I took off was for the knife sharpener. When I ordered I assumed the sharpener would be the spinning grind wheel on the back like all others for the past decade. to have the old school pull the knife thru a slot was disappointing in 2025. Other then that the can opener up front work great with all size cans. If I was to make one small request is perhaps a small lip on the front for the real large cans. I do not know if that is practical but maybe. Again this product is great for the price

It sure beats a hand can opener. It was hurting my thumb. Never had an electric one before. Makes me want to get my cans and open them all. The only problem was that a can I had and needed had a 45degree bend in the ring so that didn't work, but got around it by skipping that area and continued with the rest of it. I do like it just fine. Won't use the knife sharpener., but that's fine by me. The cord is a bit short would prefer a bit longer. I'm happy with the mainstay can opener.

When I first opened the can opener and plugged it up if course I pushed the lever down to try it and the fit is so tight against the little gear wheel that it was hard to lift the lever. (Reason for 4 stars) But if you make sure the can is fitted properly it opens the can easily.

This can opener does NOT work. The moter is completely dead. I just gave the company $19 for absolutely nothing. I'm a shut-in, so I can't return it. I am very angry, and there's nothing I can do about it. Don't waste your money like I did. Buy a can-opener that actually works. This is an utter and complete waste of money.

With the old 20 plus yr finally opened its last can, I purchased this for 19.99. It looked to be designed just like my ole reliable did. Wrong!! I literally took 2-3 minutes to get the can in the right position!!! I'm not kidding. I'm 68 yrs old and cannot believe I have to fight with this thing every time I need to open a can of something. I truly regret this purchase… it just stresses me out. My hubby, several female friend, my grown sons, they have all attempted a smooth lock and load, they thought it was me. Turns out, they could not insert the can the 1st, 2nd or third attempt. I went to Dollar Tree and paid for a handheld opener. $ 1.25. Hard on the arthritis but gentle on my mind!! 🫤

This is the cheapest price of garbage i have ever bought! from day 1 fought to open a can. wouldn't puncture the can and couldn't get can to attach. the reviews must all be fake because there is No way this would have this high rating. Dave yourself some grief and try something else
