Mainstays Can Opener and Knife Sharpener, Bottle Opener with Removable Cutting Lever Black

I really like the price, and the fact that not only is it a can opener; it's a knife sharpener and has a bottle opener. I'll be using this a lot when I move, which I am definitely looking forward to, considering. Anyway, if you don't have this product, you may want to buy it, because it is extremely reasonably priced, as well. 👍

This can opener is a great value for the price. It's small enough not to take up a lot of space on my counter. The electrical cord is long enough I can pull it towards me to use. It's quiet. The blade cuts well and the magnet holds the cutoff lid until the can opener is finished doing its thing. I'm very happy with this can opener and would recommend it to others.

I've been using a manual can opener for a loooong time. My arthritis makes it hard so I decided to get a "cheap" electric opener. Yes, this one is cheap price-wise but works really well! The blade goes deep enough down into the can so that you don't always have that one little bit that won't fully open, something I've been struggling with for a while. I will never go back to manual.

This can opener is super easy to use. It reminds me of a can opener. I had years back my hands just don't work as good as they used to on these handcranked ones so I wanted to go back to an electric can opener and this was perfect. I wanted the black color. It arrived in a couple of days and I was able to open numerous cans that same day worked perfectly, thank you.

It's easy to use. The can opener is taller than the others which helps with larger cans. However; I found that it's not so great with extra large cans as in VEGGIE ALL! That can size has, as much, as two of the regular cans of VEGGIE ALL! I use it in" veggie soup." So, I had to use a hand can opener to open the large can. Depends on the weight, I did open a large can of diced tomatoes with the electric can opener. I don't have any issues with the new can opener. It does a great job for keeping the edges neat. I would buy again

Decent product for the price - some issues depending on expectations - one, getting the can lined up to catch takes some tries at times (again not a big deal), the other is the sharpness of the lid as though it cuts well, it bends the lid in making it a bit challenging to just grab to toss away.

When I first opened the can opener and plugged it up if course I pushed the lever down to try it and the fit is so tight against the little gear wheel that it was hard to lift the lever. (Reason for 4 stars) But if you make sure the can is fitted properly it opens the can easily.

It is a fine product for the price. the one star I took off was for the knife sharpener. When I ordered I assumed the sharpener would be the spinning grind wheel on the back like all others for the past decade. to have the old school pull the knife thru a slot was disappointing in 2025. Other then that the can opener up front work great with all size cans. If I was to make one small request is perhaps a small lip on the front for the real large cans. I do not know if that is practical but maybe. Again this product is great for the price

This Mainstays can opener gets the job done, but it's pretty basic. It feels a little cheap and doesn't always open cans smoothly. The knife sharpener and bottle opener are nice extras, though not super strong. Decent if you just need something simple for occasional use.

This can opener does NOT work. The moter is completely dead. I just gave the company $19 for absolutely nothing. I'm a shut-in, so I can't return it. I am very angry, and there's nothing I can do about it. Don't waste your money like I did. Buy a can-opener that actually works. This is an utter and complete waste of money.
