These are the best purchase for those of you that like home cooked meals without having to cook each day. I have always enjoyed cooking and now as a Widow tired of take outs or TV dinners for myself. Well, this item is perfect size for a full meal. I cook what I Like enough to fill these covered plates with meat, potatoes %26 vegetables-Freeze them, thaw them %26 I have a variety of meals better then TV dinners. Microwave with everything I enjoy eating. I can have 4 meals out of one chuck roast, my favorite. The separate compartments are just the right size. Easily stored in my freezer. IT
As a busy mama of six i am always looking for a good buy. Found these storage containers for a great price and they did not disappoint. the quality is great. the size is great you can fit a lot of food in these. My kids have a lot of sporting events weekly and I meal prep a lot for them. Easy to store, the seal works great. Stackable and sturdy.
i'm always giving the sets away with food inside. i %26 the recipients love these compartmentalized containers. the price %26 quality is wonderful. i use in frig, microwave, %26 freezer. Since i live alone, sometimes I eat out of them.
These are sturdy, non melting/deforming reusable compartment plates at a good price. Through Thanksgiving, Christmas, pizza, chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers, hot French fries, and onion rings, non of these have melted or deformed. The only issue I've had is the lids don't want to stay sealed until after they have been used/washed once or twice. The lids can deform; but non have outright melted . Before use I recommend washing these with the lids secured, either in a dishwasher or by hand with hot water so they can form into place and seal better. Worth the price tho, even with lid issues; or no lids.
Enjoy frequently shopping at Walmart during the Elderly and Sensitive Autism hours. These products were wonderful. I had wished, but did not ask why there was not a garden center at some locations. As seeing the food to put in the plastic would have been beyond a hot chocolate wonderland of storage.
It's a horrible product that doesn't seal at all. My meal fell all on the floor. The lid isn't able to close and the everything falls from the storage container. Honestly don't waste your 6 dollars on this useless of a product. It's barely a 1 dollar container.
These look great and are quite bigger than I anticipated. The only flaw is that the LIDS DON'T SEAL. This is the purpose of such a container! It's pretty important. The lids just sit on top and any movement slides them off. I tried many times. I was packing a stew type meal and the lid would NOT close. When I thought it had, I picked the whole thing up only for the lid to pop open again. There is no seal! It's very inconvenient and a waste of money. There is no purpose to these unless you're using them as adult toddler compartment plate (or prison plates as my husband mockingly calls them). I was so angry I tossed the plate in the trash. There went my money.
I have purchased these before and they didn't have the best seal, but well enough if you don't have a great deal of liquid. This time, some had chips in the tops and none of the containers sealed correctly. I'm taping my sons lunches due to a defective lid and or base, I should've just used a bowl with press and seal wrap, it would be more efficient.
I order two sets of these and for some reason Walmart thought it would be funny to send me one set of these and then one set of the single compartment ones. You would think with all the money Walmart makes per day they would be able to have quality control verify your order before delivery.
Waste of money. Doesn't hold as much food as big as the bowl looks. Lid doesn't close good or feel secure. It's very hard to gauge how much you can put in the bowl for it to close properly. The take out containers work way better than these.
