It is lightweight, easy to handle and very effective for collecting leaves, insects and other waste from the water. It does not require any complicated maintenance and dries quickly after use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a fairly large pool but a standard spa that was very hard to clean due to the bottom drain being the only place to remove dirt and debris (besides skimming). This Mainstays Manual Debris Catcher has been such an easy and adorable solution for quick clean ups. Using simple air pressure/suction we can quickly and efficiently clear small leaves, bugs and other debris from the pool steps and spa. The opening is a bit small so this won't work on larger leaves or items but we just use the skimmer attachment for larger objects. This has found a home right next to our other pool tools. Bonus is that our kids find this fascinating and like to “play” with it while cleaning up the pool and spa with it.

I do feel like its versatile with the little scrub brush and fold out net. Just wish it had a power option to be able to capture debris

When the ice defrosted, the water level in my pool was not sufficient enough to allow the vacuum to work. I will try again in the summer. This product should not have been tested in the winter months. I was disappointed.

It works well for a quick clean or spot clean but for the real stuff I still have to use my other cleaner. The assembly was very easy. The pumping it up to work, that was a little harder. I think for the price point, you will be happy. I did have pictures when I got it and assembled but I must have deleted, sorry…
