Martha White Sweet Yellow Gluten Free Cornbread Mix, 7 Oz Pouch

Martha White GF is one of the best low cost options for a less sweet true cornbread. Its about on par with a jiffy mix, except they don't make that GF. I have made them as a 8 by 8 pan or mini muffins (they cook much faster). Making one pouch is better for muffins or mini muffins but 2 is basically a normal sized 8 by 8 or 8-9 in round. Purchasing them as the 12 pack and getting it on a subscribe every few months has been great for us. If you like a sweet cornbread for munching, there are others that are better, or you can stick sugar, corn syrup, honey or other sweetener in this mix and it turns out ok. As other brands have come on and off the market (we used to love hodgsons mill, but the company was bought out and the GF cornbread died with them) this is a good standard option.

This product was outstanding! All of my gluten free friends were totally impressed. I made the mistake of telling them that they could buy it at Walmart [on line] for $1.52 only to find out that you raised the price to $6.9. What a disappointment!!

For someone who must go gluten-free, this is the best cornbread anywhere, bar none! Walmart, please do not stop caring this brand! Walmart, please do not stop caring this brand, and please do not try to make your own version of this, because it wont be the same.

For a gluten free cornbread, this is great. My roommate can't have gluten so she got this one to try. It's a bit on the sweet side, but the texture is the best of the gluten free cornbreads we've tried, to the point that I don't mind if it's all we have - and I'm picky about cornbread. I can't even complain about it being sweet because the package says that it is. Great and especially great for the price.

Great product. Bought as I had a friend joining us for dinner that with celiac disease. All guests enjoyed the same muffins. Apparently, since not using regular flour, the corn meal is a finer grind - the muffins didn't crumble like ones made with the coarser grind! Who knew!! Will be my first choice when serving cornbread or corn muffins from now on!

Who would have thought corn bread would be gluten free? Certainly not me. We make corn bread with a much cheaper product and we only add a can of creamed corn, stir it together and back it as to package instructions. We didn't change our routine and it worked out as well as the cheaper brand. Good and moist and fluffy. I didn't want to share but I forced myself. I'll stock up on this one. I'm new to the gluten free world so I'm trying what I can find....and afford. But this one will stay at the top of the list. Good thing there were leftover. And, no, I didn't share those!!!!

Just Delicious, not like most gluten free cakes or muffins, that seem dry. This was easy to make, and a real treat with a cup of coffee or tea as snack or dessert! I will definitely re order AGAIN!

This is only a 7oz mix. Package states bake in 9 in skillet, square pan ( I used 8 in) or 12 muffins. Look how flat not enough batter. Very disappointed!

I ordered Martha White gluten free sweet yellow cornbread from Walmart curbside pickup. It was not in stock. Walmart app ordered it to be delivered. This product on the shelf coust $1.92 but shipped to my home is $7.70. I returned it to the store for my mony back. I never got to try the product.
