I am a Mateo's fan and this does not disappoint. I like the low sodium aspect and use this regularly now in making tacos. Excellent price and quality (as always with Mateo's)
I love this brand but my only complaint is that the chili blend and flavor profile is different from their regular medium heat taco seasoning.they make which I do prefer but this is good.
Much better taste than the normal ined
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pack was just enough. My husband and I did Taco Tuesday and we used the Mateo seasoning. We tasted it beforehand and it's just the right amount of everything: spice, salt, flavor. We put a little more cayenne pepper in it, but that's our own preference. We enjoyed it and we used it with the Taco Bell taco shells. Awesome.
love the spices
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that it is less sodium making it perfect seasoning. It is versatile and not just for tacos. Make it with chicken, some tofu and rice noodles. Having it in a package is nice keeping its freshness making it value for the money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seasoning was a great addition to my kitchen. We are using all low calorie low sodium things since we are in a diet and this was really good. I recommend it it's super easy to use and good tasting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mateo's 25% Less Sodium Taco Seasoning has great flavor. The different blends of spices taste great and are balanced perfectly. The fact that there's less salt makes this perfect blend for taco's nachos and many other uses. I recommend it especially if you are watching your salt intake.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon first opening the package this taco season smells amazing! I did not add as much water to my taco beef as the package called for since I don't like super saucy tacos and it still turn out delicious. Overall it had good flavor and was a bit spicier than I was expecting which was a nice touch. Depending on price I might buy this again, but as my regular diet requires a higher sodium content due to medical reasons I won't be buying the lower sodium option.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like Mateo's Taco Seasoning, but it just didn't work for me. The flavor was underwhelming and didn't stand out compared to other taco seasonings I've tried. It wasn't terrible, but it also didn't add much to the dish. Unfortunately, I don't see myself buying it again.
