McAfee Internet Security 3 Device Antivirus Software

Been using McAfee for 7 years and it has caught some viruses and warned me about unsafe sites. I been happy with it and its pretty easy to install.

I like the simplicity of installing as well as the protection it provides my laptop

I like the hard down-loading version of anti- software not the digital style to many requirements

So Far so good had this for 7 years

First of all, I was waiting to receive a McAfee box in the mail that included a CD and security code for installation. I didn't realize that Walmart already had the code available online in my account. So that made it more convenient and easy to download online. I was glad that Walmart offered McAfee Internet Security (3 Devices) because it is considered an award-winning antivirus software. The program was easy to download, install, and use. It took about 30 minutes to complete the installation and set up process on my PC and 2 devices (2 cellphones). It's easy to find your way around McAfee and includes a tutorial. Some features include: guarding against viruses and online threats; real-time scanning; permanently deleting sensitive digital files; blocking malware, ransomware, spyware, unwanted programs, and more; Wi-Fi protection; safe web browsing; firewall and network monitor for added protection, protects home network; prevents the PC from spreading malware and SPAM (anti-spam); data backup; identity theft protection; app privacy, Wi-Fi and VPN protection for android tablets and smartphones; anti-theft and file protection for iOS tablets and smartphones; password manager, which securely remembers your passwords and instantly logs you into your websites and apps; permanently deletes sensitive info; removes cookies and trackers; speeds up apps and browsing; provides scanning reports; automatic updates, scheduled scans; web protection, blocks unsafe IP addresses; shreds unwanted files; allows you to review security history; Web Advisor (when surfing the web, it helps you sidestep malware and phishing attacks before they happen). Overall, it's a great antivirus software that includes a lot of valuable added features.

I didn't think much about putting a security feature on my phone until I got the McAfee Internet Security 3 Device product. As soon as I realized I could put it on my phone I immediately installed it. It was extremely quick and easy to set up. Within a couple of minutes I was running a scan on my phone and it didn't take long before McAfee Internet Security found threats! My husband is now installing it on his phone. This product has an App Privacy Feature, and a Guest Mode feature that you can activate just in case you share your phone with someone else. I'm really happy I decided to put this on my phone. I've installed it on my computer as well, and all I can say is that it's well worth the money for the peace of mind it's given me. I do most of my banking, and most of my shopping through online purchases with my phone & on my computer. I can't say enough about the security it's given me and my family. I would highly recommend this product, especially if you do a lot of shopping online and/or banking online.

Product is really easy to use and download. Product was sent to me via a link to download software no tangible cd that I could keep of it, would have liked to have gotten a actually cd. I downloaded this software on my desktop and my laptop and have used McAfee security in the past and has always been great to have at keeping viruses out.

I had trouble downloading it and trouble installing. When I finally got it running it just didn't seem very user friendly, like the antivirus I am used to. I don't think I will be using it in the future. I don't really have anything to post a picture of since it was a digital download.

Caveat, I'm generally anti these anti virus software - they used to bloat and slow my systems and usually felt like a virus themselves with all their popups to buy more stuff from them and their related entities. But I had a recent laptop die, and probably due to a battery or HD failure, but to be safe since I'm starting school and this was a free promo to try the software, in case it was a virus, I'm trying it again after 10 years of not using these things. First, it doesn't let me even install the software without putting my credit card in their system for an auto renew. Also, it actually does some credit check because I couldn't put in an old card or the wrong/old zip code - it does actually semi run the card for a hold or something a year before the renewal! It took me 5 minutes and a lot of clicks to turn it off. Second, the web advisor is not available for chrome - just firefox and microsoft. Third, the most basic McAfee software that came standard on my laptop didn't work anymore when this was installed - it didn't give me a message that it wouldn't work anymore, and it didn't merge into this one, the buttons all just stopped working. There was no user feedback. The virus scan does work, the clean up scan does work, and I was able to uninstall the default McAfee, so I am giving it 2 stars. It hasn't slowed down my laptop that much - but the slow down in my prior experience is usually a year later when they want me to give them more money.
