McCormick Butter Chicken Seasoning Mix, 0.87 oz Bag

I love these. I have 3 picky kids and I've been able to add this to our weekly dinner rotation along with some jasmine rice. It's so quick and easy and one of my favorites. It's delicious!

i love butter chicken even though theres hardly any butter in it. i like to make this sauce without the chicken and jusy put it in a bowl of jasmine rice.

this is my first time using the seasoning it was amazing directions are super easy taste is phenomenal my fiance doesn't even like Indian food but she ate the leftovers the next day!

This seasoning mix and the accompanying recipe is delicious and an instant family favorite! This mix makes a fan favorite dish into an easy family meal. I made a double batch and added extra chicken and even used some of the sauce to cook chickpeas in. We will be keeping a stock of this seasoning in our pantry so we don't run out. We add half a can of corn, half a can of beans (any type but vegetarian works nicely) to add veggie fiber and protein, (basically to the recipe but use water instead of milk, less tomato sauce, more butter) and YUMMY!!!! with white rice and tortilla chips

Pretty good. I'd suggest using a pack and a half, plus the additional ingredients, in order to get a stronger flavor. Indian dishes do not skimp on flavor!

Yuck. If you like the taste of cloves then you may like this but we did not! I saw the title and thought it would taste buttery...not! I mean, it has spices that are good for you but the title is misleading. it is easy to throw together and fast. I served it over noodles in fact I just mix them in to the chicken and sauce. I mean it was okay but I don't care for the taste. I feel like this is more of an Indian Cuisine dish. the color is very yellow too, it will probably dye your utensils.

Butter Chicken is deceiving. It has zero butter taste. More like a middle eastern spice flavor profile. I cut tomato sauce in half so it wouldn't overwhelm the spices, but overall very bland! I've tried other seasoning packets that were really good...like the Tuscan. This one is very disappointing though.

I don't know why this is called "butter chicken". It was so bad. I rinsed the cooked chicken off and made a different dish. One of the seasonings inside the pack is cloves, which is very overpowering. I use cloves to make oatmeal raisin cookies. I wish I had looked at the list of ingredients on the packet before using it. I do not recommend.
