McCormick Kosher Celery Flakes, 0.5 oz Bottle

Any good cook knows celery is a much needed ingredient in a lot of dishes. However, celery doesn't keep for a long time in the fridge. Celery flakes to the rescue. It keeps forever in the cabinet spice rack. It is a bit hard to find. Not every store keeps it. They all have celery salt or celery seed but not the flakes. Hooray Walmart.

I used to get celery flakes for my soups and potato salad. It became hard to find so started getting fresh celery. Being frugal, I hated there was so much left to deal process and freeze, because I didn't use celery except in two dishes. I ran across this when placing an online order and so thrilled. It tastes as good,if not better than fresh celery, in my recent chicken with vegetable soup. Can't wait to make potato salad, as I once used the flakes. Vegetable soup also planned!

So excited when I saw that Mccormick celery flake was available online at Walmart. I use this all the time, and its way more convenient than keeping fresh celery in your fridge when you just need it to season soups and stews and such. Great pantry staple!

The McCormick celery flakes tastes delicious. The quantity is good. The price is reasonable. They go good over salads. I bought Walmart shredded lettuce to put it on top of my lettuce when I'm eating my great value thousand Island dressing or my great value French dressing or my great imitation bacon Conment thank you Walmart for sending everything that's such a great price for your customer.

I haven't been able to find this product in our local grocery stores so was happy to find it on line here. Haven't made anything with it yet but it looks good. Looks as expected for dried celery leaves.

I constantly use this product in chicken salads and salmon salads. I live alone and purchasing fresh celery to end up throwing away just isn't worth it. These are stored with other seasonings and last so much longer than fresh celery. I normally purchase 2 bottles at a time as well

added 2 roast. no affect. maybe didn't use enough. does not smell or taste like celery. eager to use I tuna n chicken salads. hope taste improves

Why is a small bottle of dehydrated celery flakes so expensive. A lot more expensive than other dehydrated vegetables? The description of this item did show the ounces. But in my mind. I did not realize. How expensive for the size of

It is not flakes, it is big hard chunks. I tried breaking and crumbling to no avail. It is upsetting since I have always trusted the quality of this brand and was willing to pay the premium price thinking I would receive a premium product. Do not waste your money on this, it is unusable and will end up in the trash.

This use to be good with only dried leaves. Now it has lots of big hard stems. Got stuck in my throat.
