McCormick Kosher Onion Salt, 5.12 oz Bottle

Unable to remove cap to remove paper seal. No way to access salt. I finally found a tool to punch access holes in seal so I could use salt. The holes turned out to be a bit too large so I have remind myself to go easy or else my food gets way too salty. Never had this problem before in 60 years of cooking!

I love real onions. But when you have those recipes that really dont have those pieces of onion in it. This gives you the taste, but not the onion its self. This is really good.

I love McCormick brand spices but haven't tried the Onion Salt until now. This is a now a staple in my kitchen- not only is there the added bonus of the salt, but you get the pungent flavor of onion without having to go through chopping a smelly onion that makes you teary-eyed in the process! I've used it in soups, stir-fry's and even as a last minute flavor enhancer on leftovers. It's delicious and best part is a little goes a long way so you're not having to waste a ton of product; a nice bang for your buck!

The best addition to my seasoning pantry in the past year. It adds such a wonderful flavor to all of my dishes. The convenience of onion and salt in one shaker is fantastic. At first, I was worried that the ratio would be off but I was happy to taste that the onion flavor is definitely there. The lid is also super useful and very secure. Dishes I'd recommend would be from something as simple as eggs to chicken cutlets and more!

I have used my onion salt seasoning several times and it has been tasty. I really like the container with the flip up lid so you don't ever have to lose it. As for if this seasoning, it was fine but I don't normally use a lot of onion salt so I don't have a lot to compare it with.
