I received this on purpose to try. It is perfect for adding to desserts or other baked goods to get that orange flavor without all the work of having to squeeze fresh oranges! It is not overly powerful but definitely less is more when using extracts!

I tried the McCormick Orange Extract and it was a success! If you want just a little orange flavor to your baking this is the stuff to use. I baked some brownies and they were amazing. I didn't use a lot because I wanted just that perfect hint of orange. Making something with a strong orange flavor would all be preference oriented. Highly recommend!

I decided to grab a box of Betty Crocker yellow cake mix, and a tub of dark chocolate frosting to give this product a day in court. After following the mixing instructions I added a teaspoon and a half of the Orange Extract to the mix. The smell coming out of the oven was magnificent. Once I let the cake cool completely I frosted it and served my partner a slice. Can easily be mistaken for a delectable baked good from and artisanal bakery. The flavor combo of dark chocolate and orange is an easily overlooked profile. Top tier in my book.

First time using orange extract and the flavor was Sutton but effective. I initially thought it would have too strong of an orange flavor but I was pleasantly surprised! I added it to my normal white chocolate cookie recipe and it gave it a nice balance of citrus without being over powering. Looking forward to its next use!

This has a great natural orange flavor while also having minimal ingredients. The container is a dark plastic which will help slow the degradation of the extract. I do really wish the container was glass and not plastic but for the price and accessibility it's understandable.
