First things first McCormick kindly gave me this Smoked Paprika, 1.75 oz for free so that I could review it. Not that it matters as the flavor is excellent. When you first take a bite into the food you are seasoning you will have a smokey opening. The best I can describe is like a bacon flavor when paired with deviled eggs. As you continue to eat it slowly blends into a nice finish that leaves and does not overpower the food. I recommend this as an alternative if you want to give a little smokey bacon finish when using it as a seasoning.
