McCormick Gourmet Organic Cayenne Red Pepper, 1.5 oz Bottle

I really liked this McCormick Gourmet Organic Cayenne Red Pepper. The flavor is smooth, warm, and has a really nice kick without tasting harsh or overpowering. I also love how fine the pepper is because it blends into food really well instead of sitting on top in gritty flakes. I've used it on eggs, chicken, roasted vegetables, and in sauces, and a little goes a long way. The heat is definitely there, but it adds flavor too, not just spice. The glass jar also feels a little more premium than a basic spice bottle, which is nice. Overall, this is a great cayenne pepper to keep in the pantry if you like adding clean, steady heat to your food.

Compared to another brand in my spice cabinet, this one is more colorful and flavorful! Had no idea there would be such a difference! I can really taste the flavors coming through when I use this in my cooking. I did receive this item in exchange for my honest opinion.

I really like this cayenne pepper. I find that some cayenne peppers are just spicy and don't have flavor, while others aren't spicy enough. This is the perfect balance of spice level and flavor. I also like that these jars are beautiful and look good on the spice rack!

I had the opportunity to try McCormick's organic cayenne pepper and it was fire good. I used it in my hollandaise sauce. It added just the right kick and a slight smoky flavor. McCormick seasonings are a household staple for my family and I. It is very finely ground, so there are no clumps and it mixes in to dishes evenly. I feel good about using organic products when I can, to help my family stay healthy, as well.
