McCormick Sesame Ginger Sauce Mix, 1.0 oz Packet

I really like this product but I probably won't be buying it again. Unless of course someone can explain to me why it's more than twice the price in a little more than two weeks. I know the price of groceries are going up but this is more than ridiculous.

A great sauce to put on many things, meats veggies rice. I definitely will be buying more.

taste great on chicken

I had some chicken breast to prepare for Diner with the Sesame Ginger Sauce Mix. I cut the breast in strips, lightly seasoned it with Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder & cooked it in the oven. I Prepared the Sauce Mix with 1/2 Cup of Orange Juice & 3/4 Cup Water. I added Chopped Scallions & Grated Fresh Ginger. Mixed it with the Cooked Chicken Breast Strips & Served it over White Rice & Side of Broccoli. The whole family loved it & I will definitely be purchasing this pack again.

The sauce was easy to mix and cook on the stove top. The smell while cooking was amazing! It's one of those where you can't wait to dive in. We had this over chicken and the flavor profile for us was right on. The ginger flavor was mild and the sesame was more forward on the pallet. All in all an excellent addition to our meal and we are looking forward to our next meal with it!

This product is quite easy to prepare. The sauce was ready within minutes of combining the mixture with water. I have not encountered similar products on the market that match this specific flavor profile of ginger and sesame, which certainly entices me to choose this sauce if I am in a pinch. I would not purchase this product because the ginger overpowers the other flavors of the sauce, making it overwhelmingly one-note. I would recommend this product to those who are looking for an accessible way to enhance a flavorful meal.

I liked that it was a quick sauce to make and the price was good. That's where my like stops and dislike begins. For it to be ginger in the title it should have ginger flavor. There were sesame seeds but zero flavor. I may as well have put water on my chicken since it didn't have flavor. Good thing my oldest seasoned the chicken so there was some flavor. I will not buy again.

Absolutely ZERO flavor. There is NO ginger OR sesame taste. Added nothing whatsoever to stir fry veggies. I would give this a zero rating if I could.

So I was very excited to try this pouring it over chicken and rice. Tonight I made the packet as told to and it had whole sesame seeds in it and a ginger base. My husband and I both had the same thing and we couldn't taste it at all. I would give it zero stars if I could. I'm really surprised because McCormick is normally a good bland but this one was a total fail. Don't waste your money.

Easy to prepare, looks delicious, tastes like snot. There is very little sweetness. Very little ginger and sesame flavor. Completely horrible. Will never purchase again.
