When my doctor found out I was taking fish oil, she said, "Oh, well, that's good." When I told her the fish oil was called Mega Red, she changed her tune quickly and said, "That's GREAT!" I think she means that Mega Red is a well recommended fish oil supplement.

I am now on my second bottle. I originally purchased because my arms and legs were aching at night and would I would wake up. I would reposition my arms to be below my heart and that would help. I thought that it was probably due to bad circulation. After I started taking MegaRed, it seems to have helped. There is no after taste and easy to swallow. I had purchased another brand and even though they seem to be the same size and also softgel, I could not swallow them and had to give them away. Happy I tried these.

No after taste. Easy to swallow. It was recommended to try this product instead of cholesterol medication. I haven't had the level checked yet to know.

The softgels are small and easy to swallow. I haven't had any fishy aftertaste or burping issues. I had those issues with the other omega 3 gels I took. Great way to get my omega 3s to reduce my blood pressure, triglycerides, and inflammation plus protect my memory and eyesight.

I think it would take some bloodwork and time to show what good it's actually doing for my body, but we all know Omega 3s are good for you. I've been very pleased with other MegaReds in the past, and this product doesn't disappoint. I always dreaded taking it because of the fish burps and the taste it leaves in your mouth. I've always heard about MegaRed and decided to give it a try. First thing I noticed...NO FISH SMELL. It actually smelled like chocolate. Very pleasant smelling and tasting to swallow. I also like that this fish oil supplement is more concentrated, therefore should have better results.

At extra strength 900mg, my body is taking in omega 3s plus high absorption krill oil. It's great that it has 2x more omega 3s than the standard fish oil supplements and also supports 4 different areas: heart, joints, brain and eyes. These supplements were easy to swallow and you only take one per day. 1 MegaRed pill takes the place of 2 standard fish oils pills and that saves time and money.
