MegaRed Omega-3 Krill Oil Softgels, 350 Mg, 130 Ct

MegaRed 350mg Omega-3 Krill Oil capsules are a nice small size for anyone who has difficulty swallowing pills. The coating actually has a slightly sweet taste and I do not notice any fishy aftertaste. Yes, I would purchase MegaRed 350mg Omega-3 Krill Oil capsules in the future. I hadn't tried it previously, because I normally purchase generic brand supplements, which I do notice an aftertaste. I would certainly recommend this product to others! Especially since Omega-3 is very important for ones health.

I don't buy it often because it's a little out of my price range but do when my budget allows. I was aware of this product before participating in view points program. I think it works better than other krill or fish oils. It is higher in quality and the best out there currently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I take the MegaRed Ultra krill oil softgel for health and skin benefits after eating a meal in the evening. I really like that I only have to take this one softgel and it has more omegas in it than the usual serving and it doesn't need to be refrigerated so that's a plus. The size of the softgel doesn't bother me because it goes down easy. The fish oils that I was previously using were mostly corn oil and soybean oil in the ingredients. This is real fish oil and not just fillers. That is very important to me. The only thing I didn't like was the vanilla flavor but that won't stop me from continuing to use because it's a great product. I knew of the regular krill oil but I wasn't aware of the Ultra concentrate so I'm glad that I know about it now because I won't be going back to regular fish oil.

I already take a fish oil supplement daily so I used this in place of my current brand. To start, I love the easy open bottle top. I like the gel cap and the pill size is a huge plus. They are pretty small and very easy to swallow. The big plus to me also is that they have no fishy odor or taste. 1 daily is so easy to do with these! I really like that they are 3x more pure than regular krill oil. I feel like I'm getting a lot out of the one dose a day! I definitely recommend these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very eager to receive my MegaRed Omega Krill Oil softgels, as I know there has been talk of the benefits of fish oil for brain and heart health for a long time. I had tried some brand of fish oil about 10 years ago, but it wasn't krill oil. I guess fish oil in general is something one isn't going to see the benefits from immediately, but more so perhaps if there are any bothersome side effects. I don't think I was familiar with this product before and not sure if I had heard about krill oil vs regular fish oil. I was familiar with Schiff brand and as far as I know they are supposed to be a good brand. Fish oil is known for fishy "burps" one might get. I didn't experience that with this product, and the softgels have a slight vanilla scent to them which is nice. I do however suffer form some stomach problems (IBS) and seemed to be having a bit more stomach problems while I was taking the krill oil, but I can't say with certainty if it was directly related to the product. I think most people would not get stomach problems from this product, so on the whole, I would be inclined to recommend it as it has DHA and EPA and doesn't have the side effect typically associated with fish oil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even if you are eating the most healthy diet, there is a very slight chance you get enough omega-3 in your diet from food. I have found this to be the best supplement I have tried yet. I had tried many different brands but many have fishy aftertaste an awful smell. Some also are very large and difficult to swallow. With MegaRed you know you are getting the best ingredients, but they are also easy to swallow as the caplets are very small. There is no fishy aftertaste or smell as it comes with many other brands.

I was given the opportunity to try MegaRed 350mg Omega-3 Krill Oil 30 softgels, and it is a smaller capsule. It tastes like vanilla going down. There was no fishy taste, but I did notice the back of my throat was frothy and salty. My parents say that will happen within the first week or so of taking them. My parents highly recommend them and they buy them faithfully.

Unlike fish oil, there is no fishy taste or fishy burps. In fact the casing on the capsules has a nice sweet flavor. I don't know if my blood pressure improved from it, but it was a good experience overall.
