This is a perfect machine for a home gym. My only complaint is it doesn't come with any weight plates or the landmine bar. (But those are easy to acquire elsewhere). The instructions were slightly hard to decipher at some parts but we always figured it out without having to take too much apart. It seems sturdy enough! My husband and I put it together in about 5 hours.
Awesome piece of equipment!! My grown sons love it. They say best investment they've ever made
Great machine for all your everyday work needs. Very good deal for what you get included.
went together pretty easy, haven't used it yet but looks solid, very happy with it.
Nice machine!!!
great machine, put it together in 5hrs by myself..works great,my workouts are better with more option..the only bad thing i can say is it was a little shaky, and the plate holders suck..i weighted it down on the corners and improved it allot..not dissapointed and would reccomend it
Machine is very heavy duty for the price. The plastic pulleys may have a little less "commercial gym" feel to them, but once oiled, they're very smooth and work very well. One of my concerns with several other machines was the smith machine bar not going low enough to have a full range of motion with deadlifts and hip thrusts, but this machine does not have that issue. The safety stops go quite low and don't interfere with any exercises. The cables are very easy to raise and lower. Exercises like a crossover reverse fly or lateral raise are great on this machine with the 1:1 pulley ratio. The storage for the weight plates is a tiny bit flimsy, but does hold them in place. I use CAP weight plates and was able to fit two 10lbs, two 15lbs, two 25lbs, two 35lbs and one 45lb plate. The 2nd 45lb plate is kind of "outside" of the last upright holder, but still has enough room to sit on the edge, keeping it off of the floor at least. Overall, it's a very nice looking machine, has great functionality, and I believe will truly help most people accomplish effective workouts at home. I will update if there's any "issues" or inconveniences that I notice once I use it more and have it for a longer period of time.
Pros -bought pretty cheap on a sale -was able to assemble it by myself but I did need help screwing on the pull up bar. -doesn't take up much space - get free access to many workout videos on the company's YouTube channel Con -it came in 3 separate boxes. assembly took me 12 hours over 3 days. The instructions were poorly explained . Each step just shows what parts you need and a picture of how it's supposed to look. None of the parts are labeled and scattered all over the 3 boxes.
We bought this in February. While using it we found it very wobbly and not stable. Mind you, I paid to have Angi professionals come and set it up. Well, I shortly after found out I was pregnant so my husband and I both stopped using it. Just recently has my husband started to use it again and the metal TORE on it. And it's even just where the weight is supposed to be caught if you happen to fall… not where most of the weight sits. Great safety if the bar that's supposed to save you is breaking… I will be requesting a refund as this is ridiculous and clearly defective and unsafe!!! Lucky it wasn't my husband's head…
Very very disappointed. First, the smith bar does not accept 1” plates. They advertise as accepting 1” and 2” plates, but only the carriages do. When I contacted Mikolo, they denied this. If you contact them, be sure to ask if the SMITH BAR accepts 1”, if the machine does. Second, so after this, I bought some 2” plates and then found out that the 2” adapters are too short for the smith bar end and they slide back and forth. Mikolo's response…this does not affect the operation. For both issues no fix was presented just small cash amounts $30 %26 $20 respectively. Lastly, the smith bar slide and cable slides are not smooth at all. I'm stuck with the machine because I already ditched the boxes. Poor quality in the fit and finish. The rack is stable once together.
